Being a single mother especially in today’s era can be extremely overwhelming. If you are one of those mothers who is doing it alone every day you know what I am talking about. It seems like the bills just continue to pile up and never end.

Researchers have said that just in 2015 year ending alone over 80 percent of the households in America that we’re single households we’re in fact ran by a FEMALE head of household which we’re mostly living very poor.

Many people may say well there is government assistance for them to get a grant but it’s hard to find and information regarding that said topic anywhere. So in hopes to help the single mothers out in the world this article will give you some insight on the different assistance topics we can cover including where and how to get a grant or scholarship. Also, you will read and see how simple it is to receive help with income expenses and medical insurance.

Are there really grants for a single mother?

Of course they do but these grants are not only for single mothers. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t help for a mother to receive one. I know its mind boggling that the government hasn’t had any means created for money for a single mother that is actually in the shape of a grant. One thing the government does for a single mother is they assist them through a group or have set sponsors through a company, and sometimes they are covered by the actual income assistance completely.

Below are a few websites that will redirect you to free items that you can get just for registering on the website.

Low Income Assistance for Single Mothers / Government Grants

As I said there is not an official grant for a single mother available that is FEDERAL. However a single mother can go through federal programs and register and sign up for them. Those kinds of programs are usually for households with low income. Which means you would also qualify for Welfare. No matter what the case these are programs to help those who make below the limit and live poorly.

Below are different types of assistance based in the United States.

TANF – TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES

TANF is a crucial for many low income families located within the US.

With TANF you receive a small amount of cash every month that you can use toward your food, rent, and other necessities. However you only receive TANF for up to 60 month limit.

If you are a single mother and you have children in your home who are less than 19 years old you are eligible for TANF.

SNAP – SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food-stamps or SNAP as other people may refer to is financial help for meals. You can receive money every month to place food on the table if you are on low or no income.

For most of Americans living in poverty SNAP is potentially the only assistance they can get.

Research has shown that in 2015 SNAP benefits have helped at least 45 million Americans. Most of the ones who receive the stamps are under are up to the age of 18.

When you go to use your benefits for SNAP you have your own personal debit card to ring your groceries up with at the register. If you are interested in trying to get on with SNAP benefits all you have to do is fill and application out and send it in or take it into a local office that deals with SNAP benefits.

NSLP – NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM

This is a program that gives free (or discounted) food to students whose parent’s income is bellow a poverty level. The income needs to be at least between 130-185 percent bellow the poverty line.

Most the time if a person is a receiver of SNAP benefits their children will be accepted into this program for free lunches. But, that doesn’t mean if you don’t have or receive SNAP that your children are disqualified.

You need to contact your child’s school to apply.

TEFAP – THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food for the American families who are in the poverty range not matter what the age.

If you have received food stamps before or any other program assisting you and helping you such as the ones in this article you could also be approved for this program.

You will need to contact your State distribution agency to learn more about the Emergency food assistance program.

Local Food Banks

A food bank doesn’t exactly fit into the whole “Grant” program area as it is actually a location in your town where you can get food if you are in need.

Do not allow you or your family to go without food. If you ever reach that trouble you can call 211 and ask them where the nearest food bank is based on your location.

More then 200 food banks exist with the feeding america foundation and they supply enough food to feed over 40 million people.

WIC – WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM

This program includes a package deal where you as a mother are able to receive healthy foods, whether you are pregnant or a new mother, and also to children who are 5 or under.

WIC is a program that is temporary and only used for a short amount of time – usually between 6 to 12 months.

EARLY HEAD START / HEAD START

These programs are for children up to 5 years old.

You can receive free child’s medical and dental care along with their schooling, and dietary needs.

Find your closes headstart office on their website or call at 1-866-763-6481.

Insurance for unemployment

This is a special program which will pay you weekly if you are unemployed and it had nothing to do with you for you being fired or let go. You will only be able to receive this benefit for maximum 26 weeks. Different states have different benefit rules. But most states will average out at about 45% of whatever the average weekly income is.

Single mothers who are out of a job temporarily can find solace with these benefits and can help make the burden less for themselves because this pay will restore what you have lost from losing your work.

If you want to try and get this started and opened for you, you will have to find your local unemployment office or apply on the website for this specific program. Most states will allow you to also try to sign up for this over the phone.

Section 8 housing

Section 8 is basically a program that helps a family be able to pay for their housing. If approved you will receive a voucher of up to 70 percent of your bills (utilities and rent). You are expected to pay the other 30 percent.

If you want to apply and feel you qualify you can get in touch with your local office involved with public housing, the HUD office.

CCAP – CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This is a benefit for families who can’t afford to place their children in daycare while working.

You still have to pay a certain percentage but it isn’t a big lump of money. The less you earn, the less you need to contribute.

EITC – Earned Income Tax Credit

It is a tax benefit for people with low income. You could potentially get as much as $6,000.

If you normally have a tax rate of $1050 but you are allowed $5550 then you get refund of $4500.

There is a Children’s Tax Credit too for as much as $1,000 for EACH child.

LIHEAP – LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

LIHEAP is a program that is a one time help to help pay for heating / cooling expenses.

Most of the time this is for the disabled or families with children or disabled person in the home.

If you need any extra information regarding this topic you can get in touch through the number 1-866-674-6327 or a local number for your local LIHEAP office.

WAP – WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Weatherization assistance program lowers energy bills for families in need. Usually the elderly and families involving children are accepted and put to the top of the list before all.

Your monthly income need to be below 200 percent poverty level.

To apply, find a local WAP center.

Medicaid

Medicaid is help with medical expenses. If you do not have health insurance this gives you certain benefits as long as your income restriction meets the level it should.

A lot of single mothers may meet the standards to be recipients of Medicaid even if you are unemployed.

Every state has different rules about Medicaid plans. You can find out exact requirements on this website.

Together with ObamaCare it ensures that even single mothers who didn’t receive any health benefits will now be able to have coverage.

CHIP – CHILDREN HEALTH INSURANCE

CHIP gives children without health insurance a chance to have health benefits all the way up until they are nineteen. It is for families whose income is too high to receive Medicaid benefits.

It provides every type of benefit you can think of — dental, eye exams, and even annual doctor’s exams.

Every state has its own rules. If you would like to learn a little more about this specific benefit you can call 1-877 Kids now (1-877-543-7669)

Federal Pell Grants

Aid program for students of up to $5,815 for those in need to be able to set foot into college.

This is the best opportunity for a mother who is single to finally be able to finish her schooling and finally continue in the workforce. The money is completely free of charge with no interest rates or paybacks ever.

You need to fill out an application and submit it for a pell grant and have it turned in on or before June 30th of every year.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

Similar to the Pell Grant. If you already have had pell grants and you are at the top of the charts in need you will be first on the list to receive this. Depending on a persons needs that are wrapped in with their financial struggle will ultimately decide who will receive anywhere between $100 too $4,000 annually.

Charities

Charities can be a way to seek help for you and your children whether you are in need of food or clothing or even housing. A lot of charities around the world actually have their own food banks that they run and they will give you bags of free food.

If you go to salvation army a lot of the times they will let you sleep there if you have no where else to go especially if it is a result of violence.

Churches

Most churches will offer you food and clothes or maybe even a place to stay if you have been recently kicked out by the one you are living with.

To find information on this you should look through your phone books local listing or yellow page. You can also research online and see what churches are available to your area and call them and ask what services they do offer.

Loans

Single moms can receive loans usually relatively quickly but I would not recommended that at all. You could potentially go into debt and not be able to rise back from that.

Sometimes you have no choice because you have to fix your broken car or maybe pay for utilities and food and need the help right then. But you have to be able to pay that loan realistically quick.

Pay attention to your credit because if you try to get a loan through a bank or anyone they will check your credit score and see if it is even available to be able to place a loan out to you. If it is a loan that is for payday loans or credit card advances they will not run a check but you will end up paying more after fees and costs.

Line of Credit

If your credit is decent some people ask a bank for a loan personally. Most of the time this is a better idea then asking for a payday loan because if you need quick money with lower rates of interest this is it.

Personal Loans

On a personal loan interest is lower dramatically but you have to pay in instalments. It doesn’t really fit criteria for an emergency. Normally if you just tell them you do not have any more funds and that is why you need this they will turn you away. If your credit is poor you will not be able to even touch this offer.

Short term (payday) loans

This is a very popular type of loan. You may know it by the term “Cash advance.” The interest runs really high on these and it is a loan that is only for a small time frame.

This is a loan that would more then likely be considered if a problem arises and you needed to repair your car or had a disastrous dental emergency. You have to know for sure you will be able to give every penny back.

If you do not pay this type of loan back you could be in loads of trouble financially.

Credit card cash advance

Do you own a credit card? If so you will be able to get money from a bank as easy as 1, 2, 3. This is not a method that is highly praised though because as soon as you start taking money out of the bank the interest keeps rising and you also are charged for using and pulling out of the bank a fee. This is potentially the easier options if you do need cash asap but you have to pay it back and make sure you absolutely can.

When it is all said and done grants will not solve your money issues within your home if that is what you expect. To get a grant is definitely not easy it isn’t a walk in the park by any means.

If you are looking to get a more stable source of financially being stable you should probably look in areas around you or find a women shelter until you can get back up on your feet.

If you think you have all the time in the world you can apply for other areas of assistance such as Food stamps, HUD, and etc. They do take a lot of time and effort for someone to get back with you and let you know if you have been accepted and enrolled. Try finding a part time working job as a way to financially start becoming stable again.

The moral of this is you can not expect a grant to fall into your hands without effort and take all your worries away. They are only here too do one thing and that doesn’t usually fix anything with your financial setting.

This is all on you and what you decide, no one else can decide for you.

please help me very much

Hello to all! I’m from a small country in Latvia, I’m in a difficult situation, I’m in big loans that I can’t handle, I think when I’ll be able to pay everything, but it turns out I won’t, I’m not giving up just for the sake of the children, because we can be put on the street if I don’t pay even one month for the loan. I have tried to look for help in other links, but unsuccessfully, because everyone is trying to steal money from me, sometimes I don’t understand what happens to people, why they act like that, so I decided to try my luck here. I hope for a better result. I really hope for generous support from honest people, thank you for listening to my request.

Urgent Appeal for Help

Subject: Urgent Appeal for Help – Assisting My Family with Moving Expenses

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jessica, and I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, seeking your assistance during a challenging time for my family and me. As a single mother of four wonderful children, I find myself in dire need of support due to our current living situation, which has become unbearable due to an unresponsive and neglectful landlord.

Every day, I strive to provide the best possible future for my children. Balancing a full-time job and pursuing my education in the evenings has never been easy, but I remain determined to create a better life for my family. Despite my unwavering efforts, I now face insurmountable obstacles due to the deteriorating condition of our home.

Our rented residence has become a nightmare. Leaking pipes, faulty electrical wiring, and several other pressing issues have plagued us for far too long. Regrettably, my landlord has repeatedly ignored my pleas for help, leaving my children and me in an unsafe and unhealthy environment. The toll it takes on all of us — physically, mentally, and emotionally — is immeasurable.

I am reaching out to you as a last resort, with a fervent plea for assistance. We desperately need help covering the expenses of moving to a safe and suitable home. By providing us this vital support, you would free us from the shackles of our current living conditions and give us a chance to rebuild our lives with a renewed sense of hope and security.

It breaks my heart to witness the toll this situation has taken on my family. The stress and anxiety affect my ability to perform well at work and excel in my studies, all while striving to be the loving mother my children deserve. I long for a stable environment where my children can flourish and grow without constant fear or worry.

Your support would not only bring immediate relief but also restore our faith in the compassion and kindness of others. We firmly believe that with your help in securing the necessary moving expenses, we can overcome these challenges and create a brighter future for my children. Your involvement in our lives would mean more than words can express.

I humbly request your consideration in makeing a profound impact on our lives. We are immensely grateful for your time, understanding, and kindness in reading this letter and for any assistance you can offer.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and support.

Gratefully yours,

Jessica

Cries For Help. Divorced, Disabled Single mother of 3

Hello. I am not sure how to do this, I never really ever asked for help before. Yet, I have tried and done everything else that I could, my situation isnt getting better. So , any donations will help regardless, no matter how small. This is going to be real hard for me to type, I am already starting to tear up..

So, here is my life, what was and is now.

I got married at the age of 20. So in love. I have a big , kind, caring , understanding, forgiving heart.

I had three(3) children.

The year of 2015 in the month of October, My husband had left my children and myself, he wanted a divorce.. So, we became homeless. No belongings, no car, just clothes for each of us for 2 weeks. My parents found out my situation and we worked out a plan and moved in with them. They let me rent their 3 car garage to live in. Its attached to the house, had a wall heater and insulation paneling. I found a job near by at a meat locker in my rural area. I started working there middle of November of 2015. I worked as much as they allowed me to work.. In the year 2017 My body pain was getting worse, my feet , lower back, wrists, and knees. I just could not do it any more, couldnt push myself any farther. I had to quit at the end of October, I had to focus on my health issues, I had always cared and done things for others, I neglected my health.. November came, many doctor appointment’s later, I decided to apply for disability.. I was deniedthe 1st time. Then found a lawyer to help. Them December came, I had an emotional and mental break down, thats what the doctor called it. On the 27th of December my family called 911, a ambulance took me to the hospital. While in the hospital , I died twice. They didnt release me until January 5th of 2018. Now have alot more issues that the lawyer used to help me get disability. Then covid hit, which made the whole process take even longer. Which made me not qualify for normal disability, so they had to try for SSI Disability. Finally after denied a few times, i got to talk to the judge that’s specialize in Disability cases over the phone in june of 2020. I was declared physically and mentally disabled by law. July I received my payments. After the $6k the lawyer fee was, I had left $11k in back payments from when they legally claimed me disabled January 2018 was onset. So, I requested the money to buy a used car, I had the proof of what and where and what car lot to show social security where the money was going. I got the money, got the car and got a little of my independence back.

Fast-forward to present, rite now , today is July 30th 2023, its 11:02 pm. I still live with my disabled parents in the garage I rented. I had manage to turn the garage into a 2 bedroom, family room and a kitchen( without a sink and water). I have all used and free stuff I collected to furnish my living space to make it feel kinda like a home. My 3 children are teens. My car is on its last leg, I had hit 2 deer at nite, I managed to replace by me, both fenders, front bumper and grill, headlights. My driver side doors i have not replaced, they are still caved in. I had to have someone i know who owns a mechanical shop work with me on payments to replace the radiator, cooling fan and such, got that paid off. Now, the car needs oil change, basic tune up and the timing chain is going out. 😟. On top of that and with in the past 9 months, my grandmother passed away, my 8 year old niece had a brain tumor and fluid on her brain and is doing maitiance chemo . School is about to start in a week or so, they need clothing and school supplies. I am needing surgery for my issues, but i keep putting it off cause mentally cant get myself to see doctor to start process. I am literally drained every thing I got emotional, physical. From SSI disability, I get $914 a month. Rent is $385 a month, not including heating and cooling. I do get food stamps, but a little over $200 doesnt cover full month. Food stamps would be more if I didnt get child support, but he dont pay. He had arreage of 14k. He is his own boss, owns a body shop body paint repair. He easily makes 100k a year, but he lied under oath many of times, and to the IRS. When the court asked for proof of his income this past February to bring his taxes, he only claimed the 1099 he got from carlot jobs, he didnt claim all cash jobs. So, he says he makes 15k a year. So, they prorated 3 years and lower his payment, and he still isnt pay n. I struggle so much, I am always in a state of survival, worry . Im to the point that I am gonna need to dumpster dive for food. I already go to local food pantry, allowed once a month. I follow the mobile food pantry truck with in a 45 min drive in any direction from where i live in my rural area. My mother been asking for back rent i owe from 2018-2020 so she can pay the 7k she owes from grandmas funeral expenses, my parents only truck needs tires, oxagen sensors and a tune up. There are 4 families living on my parents property, and the only ones with valid driver’s license and a vehicle is my dad and I. We do all the driving for the others of the family. My parents are struggling, they only need 50k more to pay their house off, all their bills went up cause the other 2 family s (relatives) had life change n problem s, where they are trying to get disability as well. So, the only help money wise my parents are getting out of 3 extra families, is what i pay her for rent.😭😭

I have lawsuits against me for debt because i became disabled that needs to be taken care of, which adds up to almost $18k. Food is to much money to eat healthy, gas is to high to drive in a rural area, our walmart or kroger is a 30 min drive one way. I have only bought on sale items, or coupon s, or marked down items that were about to expire.

And my health issues are the last thing on my mind. Because i am worried about everything else and everybody else. I have die’n bones in both my wrists, I need 3 disc replaced in my lower spine, need both knees replaced, and both my feet need surgery as well.

I never went on a family vacation. Its been 6 years since I could even take my children to a restaurant to order and be served a nice meal. 😭

I just dont know anymore what to do. So, here I am, my life.. I hope who ever is reading this can forgive me for how I typed this, I am full fledge sobbing, and my brain is all over the place. Thank you for take’n the time to even read this , if there is anyone. So, anything for a donations will help, even if its only $10 , thats money i didnt have, and I still am very greatful and appreciative..

Here is my paypal tag, i also dont know if the link will work.

Thank you, peace be with you.

Help single mom of 4 needs help. He left us and w/ so much debt.

I am a single mom of 4 young kids. Life has been throwing a lot of unforeseen crap at us lately.

Our life took an unexpected turn when I  found myself raising my 4 children alone. Despite the emotional turmoil that accompanied my husband’s departure, I resolved to be the unwavering foundation upon which my children could lean. my unwavering determination has held the family together, but I now face an overwhelming financial burden that threatens to dim the light in my children’s eyes.

With the weight of a staggering $65,000 in credit card debt that he left us with, I can barely keep our head over water. The past few months seem like one thing after another has happened. From dishwasher and clothes dryer giving out, to hail/wind damage to yard/house/kids outside toys to being scammed out of our life savings of $25,000 and bank not giving it back.  I also have type 1 diabetes and the supplies are $1000s per month just to live. In a couple of short months, we might be looking at losing everything. I am working 12-16 hour days to keep a roof over my kid’s head but the $65,000 in debt my ex-husband left us with and not paying on any of it is more than we can take on and I want to enjoy my kids and spend time with them.  I pray for a miracle!

By joining hands with us, we can help alleviate the strain that I bear daily. Your generosity can provide my children with the opportunity to experience the simple joys of childhood and to embrace a future that brims with possibilities. Thank you!  paypal.me/Nicolec1818

I feel like I’m drowning, please help.

I’m a single mom of 4, and just need help covering bills for 1 month as I’m actively looking for a job. I was married to what I thought was the love of my life but after having kids he turned into someone I no longer recognize. He walked out on us and went to stay with his mother. She doesn’t support what he’s doing but says she won’t deny him a place to stay. Now he is refusing to help with anything. I’ve been a stay at home mom for the past 6 years after my separation from the military because of my service connected disabilities. This was a decision we made together because I was in so much pain day in a day out from being on my feet and other aches and pains. I’ve been trying to see if it’s possible to get a work from home job but every place I’ve replied to just send me rejection email. It’s more than likely due to my gap in work history. I want to work it’s just physically hard on me. When I tell people my age and that I’m a veteran they’re surprised and I just tell them so am I because I was at peak health before joining the military, never had back problems, used to love running but now I can’t because everytime it feels like pins in my knees. I really feel so blindsided by this man, I’ve tried to be a good wife, I admit that I’m not perfect but I did do things a wife should do for her husband and took care of everyone’s needs but my own. I’m not in bad shape after having 4 kids but I’d like to feel more comfortable in my skin and losing maybe 20lbs will get me there. I’m not overweight by any means, I just hate my body. It feels like nothing is going right. I wanted to end my life 2 days ago due to all this stress. And what I get from the VA monthly wouldn’t cover half of the bills. I just can’t believe he would do this to us after seeing his mom struggle being a single mom after his dad left them from a young age. I’m just tired and don’t wanna be here anymore but I don’t want to leave my kids behind to suffer by being with such a vile person. I’m not a bad person I do whatever I can to make others feel comfortable around me so why have I been dealt such shitty cards? I’ve just been crying nonstop, I’m just drowning.  This is my PayPal link if anyone is kind enough to help.  paypal.me/Crovador

Single Mother needs help securing home for family

I am recently divorced women, in my mid 40s and trying to gain some access to monies for the new home of our dreams. WE have secured funding for the purchase of the house, as I worked in real estate and construction prior to Covid.

However, we do not have the contract amount, which is $25,000 to secure the house contract.

I am a single mother with three beautiful and adventurous girls. Two teens and a very boisterous 5-year old.  My 16-year old is special needs and that requires a lot of my time and energy, making saving money pretty difficult. Though we are very thankful for the agencies that assist us.

My 14-year old suffered major predator trauma (e.g. rape) last summer and has been struggling with mental health problems as well as other emotional problems from that, as well as a loss of her uncle that she was really close to.

My 5-year old has been struggling with the divorce transition, we are seeking help for that as well, but as we all know mental health for children that young has a long wait list and very few providers.

We have all lived apart since last year (August 2023), as my ex-husband did not allow my other former relationship children to reside in his home once we were separated. He has primary custody of my 5 year old which has been hard on both of us as I was the primary caretaker from birth until last year for her. Lots of changes and lots of strong emotions in little bodies.

My mother and friends have been great, putting us up, but the strain of not living under the same roof has been difficult with all of other contributing factors.

Like many families in the US, we suffered financial losses from Covid and have been slowly crawling back up to baseline.

Unfortunately, conventional loans do not allow people to ask for down payment monies, even with my income distribution being low. And usually require a decent or “fair” credit score.

We are asking for $25,000 on or before August 16th, 2023, to maintain a house contract with the seller.

Anything you can offer would be great. Please do not send advice on debt consolidation, or personal loans. I do not qualify for those types of loans because my identity was stolen in 2020, so my credit is very low due to that. Using attorneys to create a new story of my credit had mixed results. And liquidating what assets I had to pay off creditors has not improved my credit either. So, here we sit, trying to work towards our goal and continually getting opportunities that do not pan out in our favor.

We look to others for their generosity and empathy and enter the world each day with love and hope in our hearts!

Single Mom w/ No Help Asking Please

This is rather hard for me since I’ve never been one to ask for help. I’ve been employed since I was 11. Well, now I have found myself in the life of a single mom to three very young children. I don’t have any parents, I don’t have family (they alienated me when I left 2000 miles from NJ), and my kids’ dad is homeless, unemployed, and addicted to drugs somewhere. I’m trying so hard, I swear I am. I’m homeschooling my children, getting my own businesses off the ground, and doing my absolute best to give my kids a life of freedom, wonder, and excitement. But lately, it’s just gotten too damn hard. The cost of everything is skyrocketing, as we all know, and it seems like the government doesn’t want to help me since I make barely over poverty, but I don’t make enough to take out a loan. I hate asking for anything, I’m usually the one that’s helping everyone the best I can, but lately, all I can help are my kids and yet I can barely do that. The last few weeks all I hear them say is “you never play with us” and “I’m hungry but we don’t have any food mama”. Because I feel like all the work I’ve been putting into my businesses that don’t seem to budge, is only taking time away from my family, but also I’m not even making enough to put food on the table every week. Not to mention all the other stuff, like I’ve needed a root canal for over a year, my daughter’s birthday is coming up, I have $12,000 in credit card debt, and only just enough to pay rent next month. After that, I just don’t know. It’s hard with no family around or friends I can trust to watch my kids so I can get a bartending gig somewhere. I’ve been studying and researching and applying to so many online jobs to no avail. I’m putting in the work, I’m trying so damn hard. I just need help getting through this rough patch, and believe me, it’s very, very rough right now. I just want to give my kids the life I never had and I know that I’m going to succeed in doing so, but right now it’s much harder than I ever imagined it to be. I do appreciate anyone’s help and from the bottom of my hear and soul, thank you. Thank you so much, you’re generosity goes a long way. My PayPal is @veganmomkai – thank you <3

Please help us get out of debt!

A Heartfelt Plea for Help: A Mother’s Struggle for a Better Future

Dear Caring Hearts,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Norah Banda, and I find myself reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a sense of vulnerability that I never imagined I would experience. Three years ago, my husband and I separated, leaving me and my two daughters, now in grades 8 and 6, facing an uphill battle to rebuild our lives.

During the separation, I lost possession of all our property, and I was forced to leave the house we once called home. Since then, I am renting a place, but the burden of rent and basic necessities has become overwhelming to me. With each passing day, the weight of my financial struggles grows, and I find myself unable to provide adequately for my daughters and myself.

Currently, I am grappling with a debt of $8,000, a significant portion of which was accrued during my marriage when I invested in farming inputs and payment for a student loan when I was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health.

In addition to the immediate necessities, I have come to understand that personal development is essential for me to build a brighter future for my family. I aspire to raise my consciousness by investing in a course to equip me with the necessary skills and knowledge that will help me have a successful life.

I need $20,000 to pay for my daughter’s education which is of utmost importance to me, pay rent, transportation, electricity, water, medical bills, and other necessities such as food, and clothing, invest in a personal development course, and clear the debt.

With humility and desperation, I am reaching out to you, kind-hearted individuals, for any support you can offer. Your generosity can make a world of difference in the lives of my daughters and me. No amount is too small, and every single contribution will be a stepping stone toward a better and more stable future.

If you find it in your heart to help us. I promise to utilize the funds responsibly to address our immediate needs and invest in my personal development to secure a brighter tomorrow

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea. Your compassion and support mean the world to us. May your kindness return to you a hundredfold.

With sincere gratitude,

Single mum who can’t work due to loss

As I’m sitting here writing this all I can think of is how do I ask strangers for help. How do I admit that I have finally been defeated and failed as a mother. But I have no choice than admit defeat.

Here’s my story

I have had a rough life and been a mum since a young age. But I have three beautiful children and I wouldn’t change that for anything.

I have gone through so much in my life my stories are heartbreaking but that’s not why I am here. I am here because I’ve failed. I have always done everything for my children I have made sure they are feed, clothed, have a roof over their head and what they need. I worked hard to do what I needed to do. Unfortunately a year ago our lives changed.

My middle child lost his dad in an accident.

The amount of pain we have gone through I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

The last year has been so hard.

The reason I’m here…. I had to quit my job to be by my boys side. He has struggled so bad. Unfortunately I can not work because he struggles to go to school. He struggles to leave my side as he is worried he will lose me too. I have done everything to keep us a float. I have tried to go back to work but it scares him. Unfortunately I am in so much debt I am barely keeping my head above water. My anxiety is through the roof I am struggling.

I ask from the bottom of my heart for any little bit. You have no idea how much any amount would help.

Thankyou x

My strength as a mom is unmatched.Raising warriors, one child at a time.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/icX7BCPF5TmVBxt56Hello everyone,

My name is Stephanie and I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to read and consider helping me in my most vulnerable and struggling time in my life. Growing up I had a decent up bringing except I was raised with 2 alcoholic parents that were abusive in every way. Growing up I thought being belittled, and beaten and being told that your were worth nothing made me believe that’s what love and relationships should be and it was normalized. The man I was with did alot of unspeakable things emotionally, physically, and spiritually. He Broke down any kind of self worth I had. My 2 children my 16 year old daughter and my 7 month old son have witnessed  and been put through some things that children shouldnt ever endure. After 7 long years I have finally broke free from the never ending cycle and I don’t wanna live that way anymore I want to be independent I want my kids to be proud of me I have used up all the government resources this passed 6 months so many people needing help here , the wait seeing if your bills will be paid or there only so much they can do as far as how much money they can grant you. I’m a hard worker it’s just all I need is a chance a break just one and I will will take full advantage and even paying it forward some how some way.I don’t want to end up on the street I’ve been there before  I currently got a job in a warehouse and I start on Friday. I’m 2 now about to be 3 months behind in rent and in all my bills. I just want enough to catch me up so I’m not in debt with the new job. I just wanna be able to breathe my 16 year old is constantly worried she’s acting out because she knows the stress and financial hard ship I’m going through she also has a interview at subway on Thursday so fingers 🤞.Being a single mother is one of the toughest jobs in the world. It requires strength, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to providing for your children. As a single mother, I know firsthand the challenges that come with raising a child on your own. From the sleepless nights to the endless worries, it can often feel like an uphill battle. But despite these challenges, being a single mother has also been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Watching my children grow and thrive has brought me immeasurable joy and fulfillment. And while it hasn’t always been easy, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. As a single mother, I need your help to continue providing for my children on my own not asking for a continuous donation I’m just asking for a opportunity to be able to get on my 2 feet  and not worry about weather I’m going to loose everything I have and my children get took away  if I end up on the street. what I want most of all my daughter to just be a kid enjoy things before she has to become a adult.
Lz Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will go directly towards supporting our family and ensuring that we have the resources we need to become stable and not end up on the streets. To catch up on everything is $ 6,000. I’m 4 months about to be 5 months in rent at $800 a month plus late fee of $80 a month. So that makes it $3,520 . My landord is a family friend and has been more then understanding but he is at a point he’s going to half to file for eviction I have been paying small amounts every week that has knocked it down to $2,950 I have a electric bill currently about to disconnect is $190 I have a gas bill that is at $322 that is currently shut off and water is currently shut off I owe $289. And to make it worse my hot water tank has gone to crap in which my landlord has not fixed I know I should take action but currently being so far behind in rent I feel like it would not do any good at this point. I also have been offered a van if I can pay $1000 and I would half to pay a SR 22 every month plus tags. When my ex left he took both vehicles which legally he could it was in his name but I’m the one who actually paid for it. I always buy Dodge grand caravan not to new because I scrap and I also have a guy I clean for and do forclosed houses maybe 2 times every month but I also scrap when I have a vehicle 6 days a week . That always guarantees diapers formula, food and toiletries. I’ve always been the one giving and helping all my life and when it’s time and I need help everyone I thought were even friends and some family which I don’t have much of and the fact that my children are Biracial most my family that is still around won’t speak or even see my children. So please, consider making a donation to my PayPal fundraiser.@stephaniejanelle1989 Your support means the world to us and will make a real difference in our lives. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Sincerely,
Stephanie and family

38 weeks pregnant

Hello, I am currently 38 weeks pregnant. I was not able to save more than 2 months worth of my living expenses before this moment came. There is a baby coming soon and the amount of stress I am feeling over my financial situation is immensely overwhelming. I also have a 5 1/2 year old who will be starting school in the next month. The amount of money I have saved is enough for the bills nothing more, not diapers, food, cloths, gas. Where I live there is no school transportation for her so I will have to drive her to school everyday. I have since this week currently stopped working, I was a delivery driver but with the temperatures averaging 100 or more everyday it just isn’t safe. I’ve never done anything like this before but I am desperate and scared. Times are hard and about to get harder. I am asking for $5,000 in donates to keep the house bills paid and to be able to get food and gas and supplies for my soon to be two children.

My PayPal account is

Single mother starting over!!

Momma good day.JPGMy story, well it may sound like it’s from some Netflix drama. Unfortunately, it’s real life for me and my boys. My name is Erica. I have three beautiful boys Francis, Ethan, and Anthony. Our adventure began in 2018. We timidly packed our bags to move across country to Denver Colorado. We left to chase the dreams of my loving partner at the time. He was offered a position in building the New Gaylord resort in Denver. So many new endeavors, people, places, experiences to give my boys. I come from a poor family, and I never left more than a few hundred miles from my home. I thought this was it, this was that chance to get out of here and show them it’s not all the same and you don’t have to live the life I did. I thought in my heart it would be the break we needed to get out of the viscous cycle.  So, we got to our new home, and it definitely felt too good to be true. It felt clean and beautiful and happy. We had a pool and gym that we use daily, and it felt like a dream. I got a position in a group home for disabled adults. The kids were hopeful starting in schools with way more advanced technology and a curriculum that set my sons mind on fire. He was thriving, until one day it all came crashing down. My nightmares quickly took over. I contracted one of the first documented cases of covid. I was told it was some Super bug and I almost met my end. It was thanksgiving 2019 and my mother had flown out to visit. She found me blue in my bed surrounded by my boys who were terrified. I was taken to the hospital where I spent a few weeks in treatment. Arriving home things were not right. The boys were sad, house a mess and my so-called life partner was nowhere to be found. He began acting very strange. He was angry all the time. Suddenly any money we had in savings was gone and there was late bills and termination notices. This was not like him, and I was only gone a few weeks. I thought it was the result of my absence. Long story I know, however I want you to get the full picture of what we have been through. There is no way on earth to explain. I would have to write a book. (Working on that). To my utter disbelief. He was using drugs!!?? He became abusive and insane, breaking things, selling our belongings. One night I confronted him angry, as I had no clue what to do next. He refused treatment and so it left me no choice. I had him arrested. That night he hit me for the first time and in the matter of minutes our entire home was literally smashed into pieces as well as our hearts. The next day I packed my boys two suitcases each opened a credit card and got on a plane! I had left it all to save them from this disaster. After months of trying to get him help. We were drowning and he was not the man I fell in love with and made a family with. It was a total cost of 18,000.00 in back rent and damages that I ended up paying in order to maintain the little credit I had left. I lost my car as well. By the time I knew my automatic payments had been shutoff and he was taking the money, it was just too late, and they came and took it while I was asleep one night. He even sold our family dog, and the boys absolutely lost all trust for him. Their hearts broke when we realized what had happened. He even tried to make it seem like he ran away. But later we met the wonderful couple who did in fact buy our dog.
Today he is in and out of jail and truly gone. I came home to my mother’s, but we are not able to stay. She rents her small two-bedroom home, and her landlord allowed us to come out of desperation. Last month they came and told us we must go by end of August. I am physically disabled, we lost absolutely everything. Accounts all negative and closed, my car was repossessed. We are all in treatment from the trauma we went through. My oldest son Ethan is having a hard time coping. he has attempted to leave this earth twice. He says it’s that we have no hope, and it hurts too much. The man we loved sold our family dog to feed his addiction. He came back to follow us as well. He thinks we are still family. But he sits in jail most of the time. No child support ever comes. In fact, when he is released, the state will pay for him to have a home for one whole year and they will support him, as he needs to make a new life. Meanwhile I work my tooshie off and I can’t get that sort of support. He is a danger to me and my children. He snaps off in a second if I say the wrong thing. So how is it that he can assault a police officer and abuse his family, lie cheat and steal? And me I need help and I get offered a possible night in a shelter or hotel voucher. I am grateful for any help I don’t want to come off as I am not. I struggle working, trying to continue my education while supporting my boys. I do the best I can. Starting over from scratch has proved a difficult task. On top of all this madness my hip and both knees need to be replaced, but I can’t take the time to get these procedures done. When I was 26 years old, I was caught in a flash flood and lost control of my car. I hit a tree head on. I shattered the left side of my body, so I spent many years in recovery. I just want to be able to take care of my children. I have many goals and ideas. I am inspired to help others that may have experienced some of the trauma that I have. But I can’t help anyone else until I am stable. I am so hesitant to do this. I can’t imagine a world where I could raise enough money to buy a car and get me and the boys in a clean safe home with good schools and community. I am currently applying to become a CPS Certified Peer Support Specialist Aswell as studying to practice reiki which is energy healing. I would like to also obtain an acupuncture license and open my very own family wellness center. These are my goals and dreams. I just need to find a way to get this all-in motion. I am hoping to raise enough to get a home and vehicle that’s safe and in good condition. I hope to raise $35,000.00. I feel a huge lump in my throat and butterflies in my tummy. My eyes are sore from sobbing as I write this all out for anyone to read. I am a loving dedicated mother. My boys are good boys. We, they especially deserve a good start to life. In one year the oldest of the three will begin thinking about college and I can’t allow what happened to me to happen to them. I hope there is a fighting chance that this will find the right someone. I know it all sounds crazy, to the person /people who find my story please be easy on me. I did what I thought was best and got the hell away from the toxic ABUSE. I live in a small town with little work. No public transportation and no car for me to use. My physical condition prevents me from walking long distances or riding a bike. I am a smart capable woman and the money raised will go to a good cause as well as change the lives of three wonderful boys. Thank you to whoever takes the time to read this. Your prayers, donations and time is greatly appreciated. I am absolutely honored to have this opportunity tell my story and have a chance to make this life work. paypal.me/Ericahopp
