Im 19 years old and just left my abusive relationship. I am so drained. We both have our names on the lease, he couldn’t get the apartment without me, and even though i have rights to the apartment he kicked me out. A switch flipped and with it, my world came crashing. I have to find some sort of safety. After being in this abusive relationship for almost a year and being made to feel worthless in every way, I’m still struggling with all those feelings even now that im out, regularly. I’m trying so hard to make sure im okay physically and mentally and getting my life together financially. I’ve had two job interviews, been calling and checking the status. I haven’t gotten an offer yet. For those who may wonder why I didnt let our leasing office know, its because I had 2 earlier attempts at getting help from them when the abuse started and when he began to hit me. They did nothing but apologize and let me know that they felt sorry for me. I’ve looked up what I would need to go to the police but it hasn’t been long enough of the “no contact,” he hasn’t been able to reach me because I blocked him so I have no evidence of that currently. The videos I have of the abuse dont show his face. Also, I just found out that im pregnant. Took a first response at about 14 and 15 dpo. I need help paying for a check up to make sure everything is okay with how i’ve been stressing, at least to start and to try to get some sort of housing or a room to stay in; Near the jobs im applying for before I can get the rest of my life together. I put all my money into that apartment. I bought everything for it, paid bills, and bought food. I just ask that if you have anything at all, be it $1, $5 please help me. Please help me get back on my feet. I don’t have anyone I can call on or ask for help with this. I was isolated from my family and friends, and I need to show that im getting it together so when I go for help again im not left hopeless. I need help please.
