I am writing this letter to ask for a little help during a very tough time in our lives. Right now, life is a daily struggle for me and my three young children, aged 7, 5, and 2. We are cramped in a one-bedroom flat, a place hardly adequate for four of us. They don’t have any space to play and we all share a single bed at night. To add to our hardships, our home is plagued with black mould which makes it an unhealthy living environment for my little ones.
I lost my job, and their dad left us with no money. Every day, we grapple with the realities of not having enough for essential items like food and clothing. The state benefits we receive are just not stretching far enough with the ever-mounting bills and growing debt.
I am trying my utmost to shield my children from the hardships, to provide them with some semblance of normalcy during these trying times. That’s why I am reaching out to ask if you could help us with some financial support. This assistance will be a beacon of hope for us, enabling me to buy necessary groceries, clothes for the kids, and even a small toy or two to bring a sparkle to their innocent eyes.
But beyond just meeting our immediate needs, I dream of giving them a healthier, happier living space. It pains me to see them grow up in these conditions, and I believe a move could usher in the fresh start we so desperately need.
