I hope this post finds you well. I’m writing to you today with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. My name is Andrea, and I’m a single mother to a beautiful three-month-old son. Life has thrown me some curveballs recently, and I find myself in a situation where I desperately need your support.
You see, my husband, the man who was supposed to be my partner and provider, turned out to be anything but. He took most of my savings, leaving me with only $200 to my name. To make matters worse, he’s been physically abusive, and I’ve finally found the strength to leave him for the safety of myself and my son.
However, starting over is proving to be much harder than I anticipated. I was on maternity leave and then unpaid leave from my job, which means I wasn’t able to save up enough money to secure a new place for us to live. With no family or friends who can take us in, we’re facing the terrifying prospect of homelessness.
On top of that, our only mode of transportation, my car, is barely holding on. The engine is making ominous noises, and I fear it’s on the verge of breaking down completely. Without a reliable vehicle, I won’t be able to get to work or take my son to necessary appointments.
I know it’s a lot to ask, but if you find it in your heart to donate even a small amount, you’ll be helping us take the first steps toward a safer, more stable life. Your generosity could mean the difference between us sleeping on the streets or having a roof over our heads.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a world of difference to us. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this post with your friends and family. Together, we can give my son and me a chance at a brighter future.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this and for any support you’re able to provide.
With hope and gratitude,
