My sister is an incredible woman. She survived 8 years of insane physical abuse, and nearly lost her life to it. She got out with 5 children, one with a medical disability (5yrs old now), another with a mood disorder, and one that is suicidal and in treatment. Her oldest is recovering from drug abuse (19 months sober). She single handedly got all her kids into therapy and help. She teaches school for at-risk teens, is a leader for a new drug recovery program, and tutors kids in math on the side. Her teacher income is not enough to get her a home in a safe neighborhood and I’m trying to help move her from the 27 yrs of death she’s survived, into LIFE. Her children are testaments to her strength. This family needs our help to get a home where they are finally safe. Please consider helping!
