Debt Consolidation

Hello all. I’ve fallen on hard times and I’m reaching out to the public for financial assistance. I am usually one to help out those as best as I can, whether food stuff, monetary or just emotionally, and now I’m asking for help.  I have 2 children under the age of 12, and their dad and I are currently going through a custody battle. I work full-time but due to a recent falling out with family, I moved from them and I’m on my own renting, hence my falling on hard times as this is the first time I’m out in the world renting. Before moving, I had a few outstanding bills I tried to pay off, by getting paid for my vacation days instead of taking them, but since I have no more vacation days left, I’m unable to obtain more money. Also, I’ve worked 9 days in February because our island experienced another lockdown due to the rise in covid19 cases, impacting my monthly pay and my ability to pay towards my debt. My debt came about due to the first lockdown in April 2020 until work resumed May 4, then I was put on a 2 week on, 2 week off rotation from my job, which made it more difficult financially. Yes I’ve reached out the the children’s dad for help as he was an essential worker and had his job during the pandemic, but because we broke up in 2018, he hasn’t really helped financially, although he was the cause of the original debt, that was somewhat manageable before covid19.  (We were living together and he was to pay the bills and I would help buy food, but after breaking up, I realized at least 2 utility bills were not paid for since Dec 2017… we broke up March 2018, so I had to use my savings to pay these, plus buy food and run the house on a single income) I’m currently still employed full-time, but because of February 2021 lack of income, I’m now in a financial threat from 2 of my debtors, and also need to pay the utilities and rent for April 2021, due by April 9. The banks here are in no position to help consolidate as they have told me my DSR isn’t allowing them to approve my application.  (Which I don’t understand because if they loan the money to pay off the debt, I’ll have more money in my hand when the month comes so I’ll be able to make all necessary payments) I have received food packages and unemployment from the 2020 lockdown and rotation duration  (Government assistance) which I’m extremely grateful for, however, the need for the monetary assistance is to get on top of my debt and restart my savings, so I can in turn donate to someone in need, because the unemployment benefit wasn’t near what I usually make. Thank you for your consideration in this matter, and have a great day to all.
