Carly’s last photo with mum
This is my son Cory
It has been 3yrs since we lost our precious daughter, Carly, at the age of 27.The pain of her absence is still felt deeply through our hearts everyday, all day. While time has sort of allowed us to begin healing there is one thing that weighs heavily on my mind, my dear son Cory, who has endured the massive loss of his sister. As Cory’s mum I have seen the strength and courage ,with which he has faced this heart-wrenching loss however I cannot ignore the fact that he has faced significant challenges in the aftermath of Carly’s passing , cory has been trying to move forward but without the means of transportation , it has been a daily struggle for him to commute to and from his work and to take care of important essential errands. Carly and Cory were inseparable in life and her horrible untimely death has left a void in his life that is impossible to fill. They shared a close bond that was a source of comfort for both of them…Carly was always there for Cory, who is 13months younger than Carly and I know he deeply misses her companionship especially during the difficult times. As a mother it pains me to see Cory struggle to make ends meet. I want to see him flourish and regain his zest for life, to this end I am writing this letter to humbly request financial assistance to help him purchase a car. Owning a car would not only provide Cory with the much- needed convenience and independence but also symbolize a fresh start and maybe a fresh chapter in his life. Cory is an incredibly resilient and hardworking young man despite his grief he has persevered and shown immense strength. He works diligently to support himself but the burden of transportation expenses has been a significant challenges. Having a reliable vehicle would not only alleviate this financial strain but also grant him the freedom to seek new opportunities ,pursue his interests and foster a brighter future. Your generosity would mean the world to Cory and me. Together ,we can help him rebuild his life and find renewed hope in the face of adversity. Losing Carly has been the most painful experience of our lives, but the compassion we have received from our friends and family have been a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness.
