My name is Holly . I am a non working mom with my 17 month old daughter, Lilly Mae. I am 25 years old almost 26 this April. My life has always been a little hectic. I have moved many times growing up, after my parents divorced my mother went into poverty. She struggled getting us food, I had nights I ate nothing. I had gotten my GED due to mental struggling I had at the time. Years have gone by where I have learned that you have to work hard in life to go get what you want out of it, and I don’t blame my parents for trying as hard as they did for us kids. Fast forward to my adult years. When I got pregnant with Lilly I was living in my fathers basement. Working 12 hour shifts during Covid to save up for a car so I could get things moving for my daughter and I. Fast forward a little and I got the car I really wanted and was very proud of myself! Every little thing I worked hard for was finally coming into place. In 2023 These days inflation has become so bad, rent has become too high and things in life just are becoming expensive, here you can’t even life off of a 2 people income. I believe working hard gets you far, but I also believe people need help from time to time and there’s nothing wrong for asking for it. My father has been battling cancer for a few years and has gone through hell and back. It went away with treatment and has unfortunately returned brutally in his bladder. He is faced with a bag or worse. He has decided to live his best life right now. He’s a veteran who has served and worked extremely hard in his life and this country. Now not knowing what comes next is very difficult to wrap my head around. With all that being said I am hoping to raise $3,000 for my daughter and I to get the essentials we need right now. We need diapers, baby wipes, food, toilet paper clothes ect. My car needs to be fixed and I need to renew my license. I can’t get it inspected without the CO2 sensor in the car fixed, so right now we are in a huge pickle. With needing so many things but needing my car fixed at the same time anything helps us. With prices rising on the market here, it’s almost impossible to get everything we need without driving, not having a job because my car needs to be fixed. With the donations we will renew my license, fix my CO2 sensor, get it inspected and with what’s left we will buy essentials we need. I believe what goes around comes around, and I am a believer that one day I will be able to provide and help others like I am asking to be helped. I donate locally with clothes that no longer fit or things we no longer need! I try to give anytime I can because I know what it feels like to have nothing. If you do not have the means to donate, a forward or share of our story benefits me equally as much! Thankyou for reading our story and if you donated we appreciate that too!
