I’m facing significant financial difficulties and would like to share my story. I’ve been living with my partner for 20 years. Although we’re not married, we have two children – one is 19 years old, and the other is 5. Nine months ago, she left to live with another man and rarely visited the kids during that time. Recently, it was our youngest child’s birthday, and she didn’t even call.
Struggling with financial strain after she left, I took out a loan to make ends meet. The next month, I took another loan to repay the first one, and it spiraled into six loans. In January, I fell ill, received a minimal salary, and now I can’t afford to pay off the loans and utility bills. This month, I don’t even have money to buy food. I’m drowning in debt and don’t know how to navigate through this.I filed a lawsuit for child support, but my lawyer said it might take a long time. I work night shifts, and when I’m on the night shift, my eldest son takes care of the youngest. If he can’t, my parents step in. A week ago, my father had a heart attack, and we’re waiting for his surgery, hoping it goes well. Next month, my eldest son is joining the army.
I desperately seek help to pay off my debts and find a stable job that doesn’t involve night shifts. Please, if anyone can assist, I would greatly appreciate it.
