To Whom It May Concern,
Our landlord put his house up for sale! My mother is 72 years old and disabled; and we are expected to move out of our dwelling in three months! Her health is slowly deteriorating and I care for her to the best of my abilities. Two years ago, my father passed away from a stroke, and I had to step up as the man of the house. Lord knows, sometimes I cry myself to bed; but I try to stay strong-willed…be the emotional support for the woman who brought me into this world. I try to remain positive for her but life at the moment is beating me down. I currently work in the fitness industry (along with my side hustle), and in the past 5 months; it has been a struggle making a stable living. Every month, I have been trying to support my mother with her rent all while keeping up with an overwhelming amount of bills!
Since March of this year, I have been applying to different businesses and have yet to hear back from any of them; or they move on with other candidates. At my job, I work off commission (paid by clientele…not hourly),but inflation has dampen the influx of business, in turn; I’m constantly left with an unstable income. I can only keep this up for so long until we end up in the streets!
After the three months, I trust the landlord will pay back my mother’s security deposit but it won’t be enough to cover for moving expenses. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to pay him rent in the next three months because I haven’t been able to make enough income month to month! I have asked my family and friends for help, but they have all declined.
I am not one to beg nor would I ever take advantage of the deeds of any good samaritan; but I am desperate for help! I am requesting a donation of $10,000.00 to cover the cost of rent for the next three months ($5,000) and moving expenses ($5,000). Your donation will be greatly appreciated, and may God bless you!
