Hi, my name is Alecia, and I’m fundraising for myself. I am a Christian Counseling Graduate student at Oral Roberts University, but I recently fell upon very difficult times. As of the end of June
, I am facing eviction very soon (next week, actually) and need assistance with my rent, food, personal items, diabetes medication, insulin, testing strips, electricity, heart medication, high blood pressure medication, medical insurance monthly payments, transportation cost (Lyft or Uber) because I do not have transportation at this time, and internet for school to continue with my studies. I have three classes remaining at ORU, but I need help for July and August while seeking employment again at this time. I have been back and forth between hospital admission for diabetes complication and hypertension. My last admittance was in January 2023, with the possibility of having experienced congested heart failure and a heart attack. Shortness of breath and inability to stand due to extremely high blood pressure readings. All hypertension-related conditions are high, and diabetes is out of control. Also, after complete vaccination for Covid 19, I tested positive several times and experienced discomfort due to Covid experience. Because of these underline conditions, I needed to receive vaccination with booster shots to avoid complications. These are the reasons for falling upon hard times and needing immediate assistance.
