Where to start?? We’ll start with where I’m at now. Due to my most recent deposit to my bank being marked as fraud, they believe, but don’t know for sure, because it was sent from a different bank but was still from the same company, none of my bills have been paid this month. And this won’t be fixed until an automated process that I’m told can’t be interfered with in any way is done determining if the deposit is legit or not, which should take 7-10 business days but could take up to 20. I just moved into this home and this is the second time I’m paying rent here. I mailed the rent check the first, and it never reached its destination and was also not returned to me by USPS. So you can imagine my new landlords are a bit upset and I’m sure questioning what the heck is really going on. My car payment was sent back over the weekend, as was my car insurance payment on Monday, and today my autopay for my phone bill because it’s on autopay and I didn’t think to cancel auto pay and make arrangements for a future payment date. All of my money is in that account. I received an eviction notice, and the landlord did not respond when I told them what was happening with my bank. This all happened 2 days after I got home from traveling 4 hours to and 4 from a 3 day stay at KU Med to undergo 2 surgeries done to correct issues with the leads of my pacemaker about a week ago on Aug 8 and Aug 9. I was only supposed to have one surgery but after they fixed the bottom lead that was fractured the top lead slipped so the next day they had to fix that one, leading to longer hospital stay, increased recovery time and more restrictions after surgery. I have short term disability insurance which I pay for through my job, and I started the claim for benefits months ago when I got the date for my surgery. However, after speaking to them today they have not yet processed receiving the paperwork the surgeons office faxed to them on Monday, once they process receiving it there is a 5 business day turn around time on actually processing the information and determining if I’ll receive benefits. So I may be back to work before I see any of those benefits. I have moved twice since Since April, once on May 20 into an absolute disaster situation that I was blatantly and deliberately lied to and deceived about. And then by the grace of God into what I hope to be my home for awhile. My rent is $815, car payment (plus late fees, returned payment fees and additional processing costs) is $540, and my insurance will be $200+ to reinstate the policy in such a way that I don’t have a lapse in coverage. I live in a place with out a lot of resources for people in need, I’ve checked and called around and even what is available I don’t qualify for due to my income. So I’m asking for the kindness of strangers to help get me over this speed bump.
Donations excepted at paypal.me/danniroses thank you in advance for you kindness, generosity and caring during such a difficult time.
