Hello, My name is Sheri, and I’m asking for help from my fellow man. I need a $2000 boost to get my own apartment. I can pay the monthly rent, but I do not have the money to make the move.
After raising 2 special needs children as a single mother, my children have moved to other states and I am by myself. I am employed, but only make a part-time income due to pandemic restrictions, which will go back to full-time work in a few months.
Now is the time I want to use to take care of me. I have never lived on my own, and for the first time, I have an opportunity to do so. I’ve lived with my parents, my ex-husband, my children, and have been renting rooms with strangers. I have been approved for a small apartment in a decent area, but it will cost $2000 to move in. This would include the cost of the move, setting up utilities, and the deposit. Like I said, I can manage the rent and monthly utilities, but I don’t have enough to get me started.
I have given to others all my adult life, even in tough times – food pantries, charities, red kettles, donations to thrift stores and even random people that just needed some help. Now, I am the one asking for help. I just need this boost to get in my own place. Please help me do that. I will either pay you back or pay it forward, probably both because I believe in paying it forward as much as possible.
Please see it in your heart to help me in this coming Thanksgiving week.
Blessings to you,
