Hello,
My name is Godfrey K, i take this opportunity to thanks the people who came up with the idea of creating this platform. It is of great help to many people all over the world. I thank also the people who take their time read these posts we make and also offer any kind of help they can provide. I appreciate the work you do and thanks alot.
I came to this platform requesting for support of $10000 USD towards a construction of a permanent home for my mum. My mother is a single woman who has raised us for the past 20 years alone. We are seven children 3 boys and 4 girls. She raised us in a 1 single rented room. She provided for us all the basic needs we wanted. She looked for money to educate us.
My mum has been renting ever since i started i understanding. Moving from one rental house to another over the years. When i started working i had to raise also some money for her rent and and also provide school fees for my youngest brother who is currently in Senior one.
Last year in may my mother got involved in an accident and she broke her leg. This stopped her from doing any work because she was advised by the doctors to stay at home and heal first. For now am the one providing all the necessary needs at home including rent.
The reason why i came to this platform is to request for your help. I managed to buy a piece of land last year and i want to build a 3 bedroom house where my mum can start leaving permanently as am looking for other basic needs for her and my other siblings.
I will be very humbled when i receive support towards my dream of helping my mum in getting a permanent home.
Thank you once again for your kind donation and support. May you be blessed in all that you do.

Young Men Avoiding Eviction
My roommates and I are in need of a donation of $1000-$2000 for our rent. Two of my roommates have a source of income themselves but since they aren’t conventional 9-5 jobs it really isn’t so steady (they both have businesses they are building.) Meanwhile I have two jobs but I’m not getting sufficient hours for either job to support my living. I’m actively looking for more opportunities to build my income so this will be a one time thing, but we have been given chances by our landlord to where they gave us an extra month to pay double (and extra for fees) to pay it otherwise we’ll face eviction (the written amount in the bottom is an additive to our rent. Anything will help really and I appreciate you for reading this entire post. Stay blessed!

Rejected student in urgent need of help.
Hello!
Not long ago, I was rejected by the university I was banking on getting into. Getting in would mean I would be funded partially by the state, but that didn’t happen. I then decided to start searching for jobs, but the bus I used to travel with every morning was removed due to not many people actually using it out here on the countryside. I don’t have the money to move, and I fear I will be evicted if I don’t find a solution soon. I am doing my absolute best to stay afloat at the moment, looking for opportunities to work online, asking people around my neighbourhood if they need help with anything in exchange for a small fee etc. My family members don’t want to help either, as I should be able to take care of myself and dig myself out of any hole, I may find myself in, according to them. And to an extent, they are right of course, and I truly am doing my best to look for opportunities wherever they may present themselves. I just can’t help but feel stuck, especially being so far away from everything. I reached out to friends as well, which I usually would never do. But seeing as they are all students, they are barely scraping by as well.
It’s a horrible feeling, not being able to take care of yourself, and bordering on the line of desperation because you truly feel powerless. You never really realize the gravity of it when you hear about how bad poverty is in certain countries and all that. Not until you stand in a spot that looks sort of like theirs. If I get back on top where I feel confident in my financial situation, I will make sure to help as many people as I possibly can, so they’ll never have to feel the dread of not knowing whether or not you’ll be able to eat a few days from now.
On top of looking after myself, I have a dog as well. A fox terrier. She is 9 years old, and one of the few things that are keeping my head in the game. Suffice it to say, I really would not enjoy getting rid of her because I can’t afford to keep her. Her unconditional love alone has gotten me through some prior hard times, and the least I can do in return is make sure she is fed and happy.
Thank you so much for considering helping me, anything truly does help:
URGENT request for rent help to avoid eviction
Blessings to you for your time reading this, for your kindness and presence on this site to help others in need.
We all need help sometimes. Now I humbly ask for Karma to please find its way to me to help me in my time of need. There are only two other times I’ve asked for help: 1) for housing when my brother displaced me and my daughter, so we got placed into a domestic violence shelter, during this time I successfully graduated Associated Degree, and 2) when I finally decided to quit drinking, so I surrendered to a year-long outpatient rehab program, during this time I invested into starting my own business and completed training and certification. As you can see, I turn adversity into opportunity for growth.
Here I am now faced with another urgency and I humbly ask for help.
I’m asking for support to cover my rent arrears for 6 months ($1,950 monthly rent). MY LEASE EXPIRES AUGUST 30, 2023 – I wish to remain in my apartment, because I made it a home for my kids and me, we’ve been through a lot, so this apartment means everything to us.
I’m a single mom to two teens, 14 and 19. Thankfully daughter receives financial aid, so college is free. I raise my kids alone because it turned out co-parenting just doesn’t work for us.
I’m on my own new journey, starting my life fresh. I discovered I’m at my best being self-employed so that I get to explore various streams of income. I’m pursuing my business in the real estate industry because there’s so much opportunity and excitement. Getting off the ground is the hardest part, especially when emotions and lack of support play a big role. I’ve been diagnosed with major depressive disorder, anxiety, ADHD, and adjustment disorder. Alcohol used to give me courage, but now I’m learning to do it on my own. I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, and I don’t do drugs. This is a big deal for me and it scares me to take the risk into uncertainty. Sober life is SO exciting, yet paralyzing.
Both my parents had passed, 2009 and 2018. My only sibling gave their life to alcohol, so I had to cut ties. I don’t have any relatives. Everyone in my family struggled with alcohol, so we all went our own ways. I left the abusive and toxic relationships, as it was more harm than good. It’s been a turbulent journey, many times I wonder, “how am I still here?” Nevertheless, I count my blessings each and every day and I pay it forward to others whether give food to homeless, or pay for groceries to someone, or money to disabled, any kindness I can give. We all need help sometimes. We all have our end date and we will leave everything behind. Until then, why not live with a good heart and do the best we can, for ourselves and for others?
I admit, I feel ashamed that I made mistakes in life that now affect my kids. Although I chose to turn my life around, as a result we’re struggling financially. I attend weekly therapy which helps me unload stress, discuss issues, help me understand things differently. I’m loving a clean life, the opportunity to build my dreams into reality. I stay away from negativity and seek to better my life in every way.
Life is beautiful if you choose to see it that way. I believe there are many good hearted people out there, who empathize with others who need help. There are many scammers out there too, but I believe that energy attracts the right people and circumstances to us that we need at the time.
I don’t want to feel as if I’ve hit another rock bottom of my life; but I do feel that this is a serious reset for me, for us, a fresh start with a fresh mindset.
My plan is to pay the rent arrears I owe to my landlady, renew my lease for at least another year (I’m praying she will let us stay), take my business off the ground and keep growing it. I will get my foot in through the door and the rest will go one day at a time. I’m eager to succeed. I dream of financial freedom so I’m taking the steps to get closer to attaining that dream. Everything comes with a price, so I’m willing to sacrifice my days and nights and work hard (and smart) to provide my family the best possible life. I just pray we get help with our rent.
I hope that someone somewhere will read this. I’m praying and wishing and hoping for a generous donor to consider granting us assistance. Anything and every little bit helps. I believe in good people. I’ve exhausted pandemic assistance from the city, as allotted funds now ran out. I believe that we need to help each other in order to survive. Life is short, let’s be good humans.
I am forever grateful to YOU for your time reading this, time you won’t get back. Time is precious. Money is infinite, time is limited.
Thank You – with the entirety of my humble heart for the support you’re willing to provide. I pray that you’re Blessed with many more successes in your lifetime. May abundance find you, wherever you are. Thank you for being a Good Human.
Most Sincerely,
Lina.
I AM A WIDOW NEED HELP WITH MY RENT FACING EVICTION.
Dear Friends
I need help with my Rent balance which is currently 30,393.60. However I need half down to go into a payment plan which is 15,196.80 with Detroit Housing Commission in Detroit, Michigan. My husband was very sick for many years his illness began in October of 2005. He was diagnosed with Diverticulitis which he ended up having surgery where he had to have a Colostomy. My husband would bleed through his Colostomy and the doctors ran many tests and could not fine out exactly why. The bleeding would start and I at home would have to put pressure on my husband Colostomy to get it to stop bleeding then rush my husband to the hospital emergency room for help in which he needed several blood transfusions. My husband also had Congestive Heart Failure with a leaking Tricuspid Valve and causing regurgitation. This caused my husband and I to make several trips to the hospital with referrals to other hospitals sometimes far away from our home over the years. My husband had to have a Paracentesis procedure twice a week every week due to the leaking Tricuspid Valve in his heart leaking into his abdomen in which they would take out of to five liters of fluid from his stomach. If this was not done my my husband would get fluid over load and die. Insurance alone did not cover all the treatments, procedures and surgeries my husband needed over the years to save his life which was very costly. My husband received disability and I work at a hospital with an entry level job. In 2022 we finally found a doctor to preform a surgery to fix the leak in my husband heart and due to complications of his health and other mistakes done by medical staff my husband passed away two months after surgery. I did not have enough money for his funeral and had to ask family and friends for help. During the years of running back and forth to the hospitals helping my husband whom I love so dearly. I began to develop Osteoarthritis in both of my knees over the years of helping my husband running back and forth to the hospitals fearful of losing him also lack of sleep. My left knee is worst than the right one and I need to have surgery. Our son who is an adult now has always had behavior problems since age four starting with ADHD and Bipolar and was later diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia at the age of 22. He is 27 years old now. Our son did receive treatment for his mental health over the years but is on and off his medications. I put aside finishing my Psychology degree to which I need help financially to finish my undergraduate degree to helped my husband and son as well as my Mother and three brothers and sisters who also have medical conditions and mental illness. My brother passed away of Covid-19 in the year 2021 and he was buried but does not have a head stone. I would like to go further in school to get my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health to help others in need. Please help as I do not want my son and I who has a mental illness to be evicted out of our home after my husband passed away. Please help it will be greatly appreciated. God Bless! RENT HELP
Student Fallen on Hard Times
Hi, my name is Alecia, and I’m fundraising for myself. I am a Christian Counseling Graduate student at Oral Roberts University, but I recently fell upon very difficult times. As of the end of June, I am facing eviction very soon (next week, actually) and need assistance with my rent, food, personal items, diabetes medication, insulin, testing strips, electricity, heart medication, high blood pressure medication, medical insurance monthly payments, transportation cost (Lyft or Uber) because I do not have transportation at this time, and internet for school to continue with my studies. I have three classes remaining at ORU, but I need help for July and August while seeking employment again at this time. I have been back and forth between hospital admission for diabetes complication and hypertension. My last admittance was in January 2023, with the possibility of having experienced congested heart failure and a heart attack. Shortness of breath and inability to stand due to extremely high blood pressure readings. All hypertension-related conditions are high, and diabetes is out of control. Also, after complete vaccination for Covid 19, I tested positive several times and experienced discomfort due to Covid experience. Because of these underline conditions, I needed to receive vaccination with booster shots to avoid complications. These are the reasons for falling upon hard times and needing immediate assistance. I thank you in advance for your help in my time of need. God Bless!
Urgent Appeal for Assistance: Help Me Stay Afloat During Challenging Times
Dear Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is [Your Name], and I am writing to humbly request your support during these trying times. I find myself facing significant financial hardships due to unforeseen circumstances, and I am reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals like yourself to help me overcome these challenges.
Over the past few years, my life has taken an unexpected turn. As a result of health issues, I am now disabled and unable to drive or work. This situation has been incredibly difficult for me both emotionally and financially. While I strive to maintain my independence and dignity, my disabilities have severely limited my ability to generate income and meet essential living expenses.
As you can imagine, my inability to work has led to a mounting financial burden. At present, I am struggling to keep up with my monthly rent and facing past-due bills that have accumulated over time. The total amount required to get current and alleviate the immediate financial strain is $2500.
The stress and anxiety caused by this situation are overwhelming, and I am left with a sense of helplessness. Asking for assistance is not an easy task, but I have come to realize that sometimes, we all need a helping hand. The generosity and compassion of others can make an incredible difference in someone’s life, and I am hoping that you will consider supporting me during this challenging period.
Your donation, no matter the size, would go directly towards covering my rent and resolving past-due bills. With your help, I can secure stable housing and begin to rebuild my life with a sense of security and peace of mind. The relief from these financial burdens would allow me to focus on my health, well-being, and finding new ways to contribute to society despite my limitations.
I understand that times are tough for many people, and I am immensely grateful for your time and consideration. If you are unable to contribute at this moment, I completely understand. However, if you can spare any amount to support me in my time of need, it would mean the world to me.
To make a donation, you can send your contribution through PayPal. Additionally, if you know someone else who might be willing to help, I would be incredibly appreciative if you could share my story with them.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my plea for assistance. Your support would not only alleviate my financial burden but also provide me with renewed hope and determination to face life’s challenges with resilience.
May you be blessed for your kindness and compassion. Thank you for considering my request.
With sincere gratitude,
William Cowan

HOUSELESS
I am 61 years old, am Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD,) and have diabetes, among other ills. Yet still, I’m optimistic and, when not depressed (where I can get out of bed), physically very active.
I’ve been on disability for several years. I cared for my parents, and now that they have passed, my siblings abandoned me, and my daughter preferred her husband, kicking me out into the street.
I’m currently houseless, which adds to my depression, and I struggle in and out to this day. My greatest wish is to obtain the best psychiatric treatment, including a psychological one, to be 100% functional. Yet my priority is to have a home of my own. Once I have my place, a fructiferous life will become like a domino effect. I can start to find the best psychiatric treatment, which I’ll also need financial help with—from there, starting to join the workforce again, either in Information Technology, programming, or Instructional Design, among many of my different skills. I’ll be able to buy a car, etc.
I have a bachelor’s degree in English, a culinary degree in typography (FIT, NYC,) and numerous degrees, including in technology (programming.) I’m also a writer and participated in a Spanish poetic anthology. Constantly getting certified in an eclectic background (mostly technology certifications from coursera.org)
Please help me. I do not wish to die on a social security check. I’d be honoured if someone could help me. I’m ready to begin my life again, While simultaneously receiving psychiatric and psychological treatment.
Housing is increasingly expensive, but if you can help with at least one year of rent and paying my debts, that has placed me in more precarious, more profound circumstances as time passes.
I went into debt when caring, especially for my mom. My mom suffered from COPD and needed to buy supplies, including an oxygen tank, high insurance co-pays, high hospital and medicines co-pays, etc.—then started to stay behind in mortgage, utilities, etc., until I lost the house.
Sometimes I feel weak, but I have always possessed a strong spirit and refuse to give up. I have always yearned to be successful in helping others; my priorities lie with providing people in the third age, of low or no resources, abandoned by their families, a beautiful place they can call home. Most importantly, it also helps children of low-income households access excellent academic education. Help me better myself and enable me to accomplish my dreams.
Urgent Request for Help & Support for a Single Mother & Child
Dear Generous Donor,
I hope this letter finds you well in good health & high spirits. I am writing to you today with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit, seeking your support, compassion & generosity in assisting my 7 yr old daughter and myself during these challenging times that we currently face.
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Danielle, and I am a single mother striving to survive to provide a better life for my precious daughter. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond my control have led us into a state of extreme financial distress and instability.
As the escalating costs of rent and inflation loom over us, I find myself on the verge of losing our home due to accumulated rent arrears. The fear of eviction weighs heavy on my heart, as it not only threatens our shelter but also disrupts my daughter’s stability and hinders her education, as we only live a couple blocks from her school.
The severe financial strain has also made it increasingly challenging for me to provide the basic necessities of life, such as food and groceries, for my daughter. We have been living on the bare minimum, & it breaks my heart to see my little girl open our fridge looking for snacks or something to nibble on, but only stares at nothing and quietly closes the fridge. The fear that rushes through my heart as she excitedly asks me, “What’s for dinner Mom?” as my brain racks through our dwindling inventory of rations…..is just too much to bear!
Moreover, the mounting bills for utilities have unfortunately gone unpaid, leaving us at the risk of disconnection. The thought of being without electricity, gas, clean water or access to sanitation, even access to community resources from a loss of phone or internet only compounds our already overwhelming situation.
In light of these circumstances, I am humbly reaching out to your goodwill and generosity, hoping that you may be able to extend a helping hand to us. Your invaluable support could make an immense difference in our lives, offering a glimmer of hope in our darkest days.
With your assistance, I will be able to clear the outstanding rent, ensuring we have a stable roof over our heads. Additionally, it would provide me the means to address our mounting utility bills and alleviating the heavy burden on our shoulders.
I believe in the power of compassion and the goodness of humanity, and I genuinely hope that you can find it in your heart to aid us in this time of need. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply cherished and profoundly impactful to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this heartfelt appeal. Your consideration, empathy, and potential support mean the world to us. May your kindness be rewarded tenfold, and may our struggles transform into triumphs.
With sincere gratitude and the utmost hope, Danielle.
Please forward your kind and generosity to paypal.me/diydani
rent help
I am asking help to cover my rent, as I have fallen behind, and fear eviction. I was involved in an accident last October. I was hit by an uninsured driver. My car was totaled by my insurance company. No injuries, thank God. However, I still had a loan out on my car, and the insurance payment did not cover the full amount. I also had the $1000 deductible that was on me. I was able to get another car, with a co signer, months later. Then last May my rent gets raised by $200 and a $75 late fee if it’s paid late. I now owe $3550 in rent. Let me tell you who I am. I’m a 64 year old female who lives alone. I work full time for $18.00 an hour . I have applied for other jobs, with no avail. I’m sure it’s my age. I have rent, car payments, insurance, credit card payments, and food to pay for out of my pay. It’s snowballed out of control since the car accident. I fear I will have no place to live soon. I’m a hard worker, and I never miss work . I’ve asked for raises, but it never happens. I am a complete mess, my anxiety is at a full blown level. Please, can anyone out there help me? Thank you
Request for Financial Assistance For Rent

Need help paying rent
Hi there,
I am in need of help to pay for rent as I am only just getting by with what I get from my job. I get paid every two weeks and that alone isn’t doing very much. My rent is $500 a week and I can’t ask any family or friends for rent money. This is a lot for me to do to ask for assistance. I really like where I live and don’t want to move out. Any amount of money would be appreciated. I know times are hard for everyone. If you can’t help, that is ok. Thank you for your time and I hope that others who have written stories also get help as well.
HELP WITH RENT FOR AUGUST/2023
HELLO. MY NAME IS JOYCE AND I AM IN NEED OF HELP WITH MY RENT FOR AUGUST/2023. PLAIN AND SIMPLE……..I AM IN FINANCIAL DEBT BECAUSE I WAS NOT ABLE TO WORK DUE TO HAVING SURGERY A YEAR AGO. I DO HAVE A RETIREMENT INCOME OF $1,300/MTH., HOWEVER IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO COVER RENT, UTILITY BILLS, INSURANCES, VEHICLE PAYMENT, ETC. I DID HAVE SOME MONEY SAVED (NOT A LOT) THAT I LIVED ON FOR A WHILE……THEN I RESORTED TO USING CREDIT CARDS TO HELP WITH BILL PAYMENTS. I AM NOW TRYING TO FIND A JOB; AS I CAN’T CONTINUE DOWN THIS ROAD BUT I DON’T HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE. I AM 74 YRS. OLD AND ALWAYS THOUGHT RETIRING WOULD BE FULL OF FUN AND TRAVEL. AS OF NOW, IT IS NOT. I HAD TO GET ANOTHER VEHICLE BECAUSE THE ONE I HAD FOR OVER 10 YRS. WAS MORE COSTLY TO BE FIXED THEN WHAT IT WAS WORTH. FOR THIS REASON, I GOT A LOAN FOR ANOTHER USED VEHICLE. MY RENT FOR AUGUST/2023 IS $988.00. IF YOU FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO HELP ME, I WOULD REALLY, REALLY APPRECIATE IT. I KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE GREATER NEEDS, BUT I TRULY COULD USE YOUR HELP. IN THE PAST WHEN I WAS ABLE TO HELP PEOPLE, I DID AND WILL DO SO AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH AND MAY YOU CONTINUALLY BE BLESSED IN EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE.

well good evening my name Is Melvin Lesley Im here asking for help got myself in a pit trying to get out.
call myself trying to be a owner operator started out trying to lease purchase a truck with no money down I thought it sounded good from a company called SuperEgo Holdings based out of Elmhurst, Illinois.
got the information off Facebook, in regards to lease purchase program well I Decided to lease the tractor and trailer from SuperEgo and they would give you 88% of the loads you deliver but you would have to use there broker and you cannot pull any other loads but the loads they assign to you and its not forced Dispatch whatsoever.
But the catch is they would get half of the 88% of the loads and they would take an additional 12% every load you pull which is called stealing Rate Cons well this company have been doing this for some time now costing folks like myself financial loss.
I got my self in a bind trying to make money which was not the case with this company I was not making any money for an entire month and decided to walk away from this lease purchase agreement with no strings attached and try to salvage what I had left which is nothing but me making a bad decision got behind on my rent and all my bills now me and my wife is about to be homeless on the streets been calling and really trying I hit a wall.

Missionary Help with Rent in Mexico
Hello Everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. My husband and I relocated to Mexico as missionaries and because we are just growing, we both came with our full-time jobs, when usually missionaries depend on donations for basic living expenses. However, that has not been our story, we have funded outreach and our expenses personally. But, when we relocated to Mexico, in addition to full time outreach, counseling, and ministry, I was able to work full time, but my husband’s job had a security issue with him working in Mexico. So, he had to quit his job with the door open again in the future because of his character and integrity. We have a home for rent in Mexico and we are concerned about being able to pay rent. Not only do we have our sons, and medical bills from losing our full term healthy son a year ago, following a traumatic birth, but my husband also cares for two sons that he has taken on, in addition to full time outreach. He also has an insurance license, but he is not able to work in that familiar space here. So, he’s working diligently to reinvent himself. He just completed a technology BootCamp that usually takes 2-3 months on average to complete. In addition to all that he does to serve and pour into others, he completed all of his courses and passed his exam in only one week, while renewing his insurance license and continuing education, as an emergency backup. I’m super proud of him and reinventing himself and I am working full time, but I’m not able to maintain everything, while we diligently apply for work with his new certificate. I’m confident that with your help and God’s grace, he will land something within 60 days.
In the meantime, if someone can help us with $5500 to hold us over, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much for reviewing our situation. We appreciate a donation of any amount and may every gift be blessed doubly in return, whether it’s a prayer or a financial gift. Thank you!
