Lately nothing has been going my way. I lost my job due to my IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome). I am in constant pain from stomach cramps and bloating, with sometimes uncontrollable diarrhea. Since being diagnosed with IBS, I have been spending more and more time in the restroom trying to get my symptoms to stop or to find at least some relief, sometimes up to an hour or more. I was working full time, but since I was gone so long in the restroom, I got cut down to part time, then let go entirely. Taking constant bathroom breaks at my job was not acceptable. I understand why, I was a web developer working in a fast pace marketing firm, and I would have to run to the restroom about 5 times a day, spending 20 to 30 minutes there at a time. and I have been working temporary jobs since, trying to keep myself afloat, paying for rent and car payments, living paycheck to paycheck.
While this has been going on, my dad recently passed away from liver and kidney failure due to alcoholism that he had been struggling with secretly for years, we only truly found out when he woke up one morning and my mom saw that he had yellow colored, which I later found out was called jaundice, a symptom of liver failure. Since he passed away so suddenly, he unfortunately left my family with no life insurance, nor any way of paying the house payments or his hospital bills that was on a two person budget, now only down to one, my mom. I have been trying to help out as much as I can but this month I am falling short. The house payment is 1,300, which I have given about 500, all I can spare. My sisters are helping out with the rest, thank God. But my rent is due at the end of the month and I am short about 1,000 dollars, not even to mention my car payment which is 500.
I just need a break, I single chance to get up on my feet so I can keep going forward. If there is anyone out there that could help, I would be very thankful. Just getting this all off my chest has helped a lot, there is not too many people who I can talk to about this without them wondering why we did not know any better about my dad drinking or they think my IBS is a made up disease and its all in my head and I am just being lazy. Even if I don’t get any money from this, thank you for reading this, it means a lot that people come to this website looking to help others.
