I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your kind assistance during a challenging time for myself. Recently, I made the decision to help my daughter, who is cognitive impaired, relocate from Indiana to Georgia with my two granddaughters as she was evicted cause she couldn’t live on her own. In the process of doing so, I assumed that she would pay me back with her child support check towards the money I used to move her things, but unfortunately, that did not happen. As a result, I find myself in a difficult financial situation, struggling to meet my rent obligations. To make matters more complicated, I have recently been diagnosed with early onset dementia, and it has affected my ability to work lately making me work less hours and not making enough money. I was given these results the day my daughter had to be out her apartment. In just one week, I will be transitioning to short-term disability to address this health concern. I have been battling with confusion, memory loss and focus, and tiredness for going on a year and just getting to the root of what it is. My team of doctors are ruling out everything before fully going into this diagnosis cause I am only 44 years old. I had 2 cardiac arrests in August 2017 due to unexpected blood clots causing pulmonary embolism and blood thinners for the rest of my life, and doctors said I am a miracle cause people usually don’t make it out of that. I am also Type I insulin dependent diabetic for 27 years now which also don’t make it so easy for me. I have tried working since my cardiac arrest in 2017, but I’m gonna have to look back into Social Security disability if I can’t return to work. I am reaching out to you in the hopes that you might be able to offer any support to help me during this trying period. I am truly trying to get everything in place for what may come, but I believe God has the final say as He did in 2017. Any assistance would be immensely appreciated and would make a significant difference during this stressful time. Thank you for considering my request.
Sincerely,
Tracy Brown
