Hi, thank you for taking the time to read.
I’m a young man who dug himself into a financial hole. It all started when I got my first credit card. I started with only a $300 credit limit and I was very conservative with my spending. $50 here, pay back, $20 here, pay back, and so on. It was like that until my credit limit started going up. I started buying above my means, treating my credit like is was something I could just pay back later without a problem, and got stuck in this endless cycle of paying my credit down, and then responding it.
After a while, I realized my mistake, and started focusing on paying it back and refused to spend it no matter what, until my girlfriends roof caved in due to water damage. At the time, I was living with my brother, and she moved into the tiny room with me, and I knew after a while, my brother would get frustrated having to many people living with him, like he’s done before, so I took the initiative and quickly found us a place to stay. It was more money, but I figured we could live minimalist for a while and manage. I was wrong.
After we moved, one thing after another started going wrong. Between vehicles breaking down, and loosing my job due to a broken leg, I quickly ate through my credit, and made it worse by taking out more loans.
I now sit here $14000 in debt. My monthly payments are so high, I will have to choose to pay necessary bills like power, water, and rent and sink further into debt, or pay my debt, but losses my girlfriend and go homeless.
I used to be a firm believer in hard work and being a strong individual, but here I type broken and in need of help. If anyone out there is reading this, and wants to help, I’ll be more than willing to work something out with you. Perhaps repayment, situational updates so you know your money hasn’t been wasted. Perhaps even personal favors. I am willing to work for it.
To sum up my debts, I now owe around $4000 to capital one, $3000 to credit one, 3000 to to road runner financial, $1500 to prosper, and sadly to admit, $2000 to a financial institution thay I can’t even recall the name of, as I took the loan out of desperation.
To clear up the amounts owed and interest, $15,000 should do the trick and maybe leave a little bit to get me back on my feet, but $10,000 would suffice and I could pay the rest back myself.
