I need help with my Rent balance which is 31,515.60 (new current balance). However, I need half down to get into a payment plan which is 15,757.80. This letter is a Update to the one I ordinarily put on this site as I did not put the right PayPal information so that you wonderful life saving people can help me properly. The Rent I owe is to Detroit Housing Commission located in Detroit, Michigan. My husband was very sick for many years his illness began in the year 2005. He was diagnosed with Diverticulitis which he ended up having surgery where he had to have a Colostomy. My husband would bleed through his Colostomy and the doctors ran many tests and could not find out exactly why. The bleeding would start and I at home would have to put pressure on my husbands Colostomy to get it to stop bleeding then rush my husband to the hospital emergency room for help in which he needed several blood transfusions. My husband also had Congestive Heart Failure with a leaking Tricuspid Valve causing him to have regurgitation. This caused my husband and I to make several trip to different hospitals with referrals for further treatment which was sometimes far away from our home over the years. My husband had to have a Paracentesis procedure done twice a week every week due to the leaking Tricuspid Valve in his heart which would leak into his abdomen. The doctors would take out up to five liters of fluid from his abdomen. If this was not done my husband would get fluid over load and die. Insurance alone did not cover all of the treatment my husband need and would get very costly. Our son has all ways have behavior problems since age four. He was diagnosed with ADHD,Biplor and later at age 22 Paranoid Schizophrenia and has received treatment but is on and off his medication. During the 2021 my brother died of Covid-19 and was buried but does not have a head stone. I myself have developed Osteoarthritis in both my knees but the left one is worst than the right one. I put off having surgery as there was no one to help and look after my husband. I also have other family with mental illness and I was running back and forth to help them as well. I would to finish my undergraduate degree in Psychology and get my masters in Clinical Mental Health so that I can give back and help others in need. My husband was on Disability and I work and entry level job at a hospital which could not cover all of our expenses and mounting medical bills for my husbands treatments. My husband and I finally found a surgeon who would perform heart surgery for my husband to fix his Tricuspid Valve on his heart and two months later my husband passed away of health complications and issues caused by the medical staff. I am asking for help with my Rent Please as I do not want to be evicted from my home with my son who has a mental illness. Thank you so very much and may God continue to bless you and your family.
