My husband and I are significantly struggling and have been for a while. I have tried EVERY other option I can think of before asking for financial help anywhere else. I am a healthcare professional, I have my Masters Degree, I work for a mental healthcare company so I am doing my absolute best to give back and help make an impact in others lives. I lost my job during Covid, I contracted Covid and was dangerously ill and couldn’t work so I lost my job. After regaining my health it took me around 7 months and 200+ job applications to gain employment again. In doing so I had to settle for entry level pay, but anything was better than nothing. I am excelling in my position and my supervisor told me it is just a matter of time before I am able to move higher within the company and receive a significant pay increase. Meanwhile to try and compensate I am working 4-5 freelancing side jobs alongside my full time job to try and make ends-meet, but it is still not enough. My husband is an entrepreneur (he owns a nutrition and personal training company) and he suffered a decrease in income due to Covid as well, as people aren’t able to afford those types of services right now. He is also working freelancing side gigs to try and help too, but we can’t seem to get our heads above water. I maxed out all credit cards while unemployed, and now I have fallen behind on payments and can’t catch up. Last month we were almost evicted as we weren’t able to gather enough funds to pay rent until February 26, and we still haven’t been able to pay rent as of today, March 13 for the month of March. We already had one of our vehicles repossessed, and now are in jeopardy of having our other one repossessed as well. I am beyond stressed trying to figure this out and I think I’ve exhausted all other options. ANY help at all would be BEYOND appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
I have tried REALLY hard to figure out every alternative I see possible before reaching out for help. My husband and I both work EXTREMELY hard not only to make a comfortable living for ourselves, but both of our dreams and priorities in our lives is to do our best to change others’ lives, we want to impact as many people as we can and try to make their lives easier. We believe at some point we could help change millions of lives. I know that doesn’t have much to do with the question but we are both really good people that are doing all we can to do this on our own, and we just can’t. I want to be able to keep the job I have now because the contact I have with patients’ every day that are in search of mental health help HAS changed and saved lives, I’ve had numerous patients tell me that their interaction with me stopped them from hurting themselves or even killing themselves. If we can’t get some sort of financial assistance to give us a little break for a month or two with our biggest expenses (rent and car payment) I am going to have to quit and do something that might possibly pay me better. I have been working 16-17 hour days between my full time job and freelance work to try and make ends-meat, and I’m so exhausted physically and mentally I am not sure how much longer I can maintain this. The company I work for, Lifestance Health is a nationwide company, so the possible capacity I have to impact lives all over the nation and to try and help heal the broken people in the U.S. could be huge if we can just get a month or two of help to let us get our feet back under us and get our heads above water and caught up on bills. I will attach a photo of my car payment account, and also a picture of my husband and I at the bottom of this story, just so you can see who you might be helping, put faces with the story.

Again, even if I don’t get any assistance I really appreciate you taking the time to read this.
