I guess I’ll start off by saying: this is a first for me.
To keep it brief and not bore you.. I don’t have family here in the states. The reason why? My mother decided to side with the man that sexually assaulted me and my kid. And so it’s very clear what decision I had to make and that was: cut my her and everyone else that supports her off.
It has honestly been a rollercoaster ride. I was homeless for a week, ended up getting helped for 6 months, got my own apartment, and decent car than the little beater i had before and a good job. I ended up losing that job last week and now getting paid way less than what I was getting for the past 3 months. I don’t mean to drag this on but it’s been said that the strongest person is the one that puts their pride aside and asks for help so here I am, asking.
I am needing to come up with $775 for rent on the 5th of July which is a week away. All the other bills i can cover by door dashing on the side but for now I only have enough money to keep gas in my car and pay my daughter’s daycare. This is my first place ever and took me 6 months to find a private owner to rent to me. The market was very competitive. I told him that i wouldn’t let him down and now, well, i just might if I don’t get the help i need for rent… I feel dreadful and embarrassed honestly posting on here. This is my last resort and I hope that someone out there could really lend a hand. It would be nice to finally have a supportive hand. The repercussions one must deal with when they decide to have kids at a young age and I am very humbled by this experience..
