Who I am

Hello! I’m a full time student, and the jobs I’ve had since the pandemic are part-time, and don’t pay much. I’m from South America, and I can only make around $70 per month. My dream is to gain more experience in programming to start making money with it. Unfortunately, I’m out of money, and the free trial of a course I’ve been doing it’s over.

The course belongs to JetBrains Academy, and it’s designed with an online setup. They ask for $249 for an annual subscription. That probably might not be too much for some people, but the thing is that I can’t get a full time job since I’m still a student. I can only work part time, and my skills are mainly directed to the area of mechanics, and mechanics don’t make a lot of money here. They barely make enough money to pay rent, basic services (water, electricity, etc.).

If I get that subscription, I’ll be able to better my skills and get more knowledge, since I’m still a beginner at programming. I know how to code in Python and Java, but saddly my knowledge is still not enough. And of course, more skills and knowledge might give me an opportunity to get a job at this.

Getting a job in my country is hard, and payment is also low. My goal is to get a job online (in another country), but, honestly, I would accept any job related to programming. I cannot afford to lose opportunities. And this academy it’s really good. I managed to learn Java (a programming language) very fast thanks to it. There’re online resouces, of course, but they’re not enough. I’ve downloaded many books related to progamming, also watched tutorials on youtube, but this academy is different. It gives you theory and also projects where you can directly apply what you just learnt.

English is not my native language, so sometimes is hard to get some things from the books. But practice is the best teacher really. I can learn from my mistakes, and search for help in blogs and videos. So, that’s why this is very important to me.

It also lets me know I’m really accomplishing something, since they give you certificates and trophies.

I could pay for this, but I’ve got my hands full. And I don’t have enough money for it anymore.
Also I don’t have the time to get more jobs, since I also have to study.

Abandoned

So many times in my life I constantly encouraged women to never let themselves be treated less than they deserve in anyway anyway.  I’ve never seemed to comprehend that for myself and have recently began counseling after my relationship finally ended in a horrible way and absolutely destroyed me. He was narcissistic, controlling, mentally and verbally abusive and emotionally neglecting. I was so sure I just kept doing things wrong and I wasn’t good enough but I moved 4 states with him for his job and I always had to start over. Not him just me. He never supported me, never cared about my dreams. Watched me struggle. I’m a mom of 3 amazing boys who actually stayed a school semester with their dad because his job transferred him to Kentucky last minute and we had to find a house. This is where I should have let us end but I couldn’t. He left me to take care of everything in Louisiana. Told me to sell most things and we would buy them new. Told me to sell my car and when we closed on the house we would get another vehicle because he had his bike and I could use his car. He constantly shamed me about money and what I made or what I had but I paid EVERYTHING but the rent. I would literally be sick thinking about how to try and explain to him I couldn’t keep up. He would yell at me and tell me I was irresponsible and I’d just stop saying anything. I was scared of the things he would say. I took debt of his into my name so he could close on the house. I came home and he was gone. Cleaned our the apartment and left me. I was completely alone in a new city, no car, no friends. I went from being a mom, wife, dog mom to 4 walls of dead silence. I lost it. I isolated myself from everyone. I worked and that was it. I was ashamed and humiliated. Things only got worse. I was drowning. The mental and emotional toll it was having on me took me down a depression I’ve never felt. Then he didn’t show to court when they were coming for him for a lease violation and they kicked me out. I’ve been drowning paying hotels and Uber fees. I haven’t had a dime to go see my kids. I have no home, no belongings anymore. Nothing. I can’t get caught up because there is no one to help. No family because I was a foster kid. My whole world fell apart and I’m tapped out. I desperately need help with groceries, a deposit and rent for a place to live so my boys can come home. Everytime I get a slight step ahead I get kicked down. I get back up tho. The details of the abuse and cruelty is so hard to talk about because how could I be so stupid to let him do this to me. I have to pay the hotel fee and I don’t have a dime. I’m tapped out. I can’t catch up and I desperately need the kindness of someone in any amount. I am grateful for anything  and everything. I appreciate from the bottom of my heart for your compassion.

Desperate and Unkown

I’m in some serious trouble. And ultimately it’s due to a condition that I have, and this condition caused me to put myself in this position.

The condition I suffer from is called Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). DID is a condition that was formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder, but as many misconceptions about the condition were discovered, there was a realization that the disorder had to be reclassified.

It’s caused by severe trauma in most cases, and most who suffer from DID are victims of very traumatic experiences. In my case, I was sexually abused from my earliest memories until the age of seven when my grandparents saved me from my biological parents.

Just like all who suffer from DID, I perceive and act out very different and separate personalities, known as alters, all of whom live inside my head. This is obviously not a reality as I’m one person, but my brain has no way to differentiate, and I have separated myself into self aware segments that are often not aware of each other’s actions or knowledge to better deal with the trauma that is so debilitating. I generally have no control over when a switch from an alter, to another alter, to the core personality, and vice versa, occurs. An event will trigger the currently in control personality who will have a trauma response. He (or, apparently now, a she, as well) will need to protect themselves, so they retreat within the mind and allow another personality to take over the body and brain.

Recently, I woke up in Berkeley, California. I live in San Jose, California. So I was about 50 miles away from where I had last remembered myself to be, parked on the side of the road, with no idea how it got in there. One of my alters had taken over due to a trauma response that caused me to retreat.

Now, it’s not so bad that I woke up in Berkeley. That’s the least of my worries. When I started to try to figure out where I’d been, I discovered some very unfortunate news. My alter had sent many thousands of dollars to people that I don’t even know, myself. I don’t know how he knew them. I don’t know if he selected them randomly. They were paid by Zelle, Cash App and Venmo. What was even more shocking than this was that he gave away more money than I actually have. He took out loans. He took out loans to give them more money.

All said, I’m out approximately $50,000 that I did not have. These loans that were taken out are also auto debiting for my account at very high rates. If I don’t get the ability to pay these loans off before my next paycheck, which is on the 15th, these loans are going to take away my whole paycheck. And more. I will be in negative unless the bank blocks some of the attempted payments. So if that happens it means I will not eat for the rest of the month, nor will my wife. If I further don’t get the money to pay off these loans before the last paycheck of the month, I will not be able to pay rent, and I may be on the street.

This is a lot to ask. I never thought I’d be asking for this type of help in my life. But I’m in dire straits. I’m desperate and don’t know what to do. Any help, any at all, can add up and might make all the difference in the world. I’m humbling myself and asking people for help. I will be grateful if you send me a whatever you can. That’s a start.

Employed but Temporarily Homeless

Thanks for taking the time to read my request. Simply put, my wife and I need about $900 to get into an apartment that we’ve been approved for, and 400 to make our car payment. But how we got here is a story, one you may find interesting.

I lived in Asheville, North Carolina when I first met my wife Elizabeth. I had lived there for about 20 years, having arrived more or less by accident after leaving Massachusetts to do some exploring. I had an undiagnosed mental illness, and couldn’t keep my life together. I went through two marriages, had two children, and failed at many jobs.

Over time, I got treatment for my illness, and met Elizabeth. She brought me to Christ, and since then I’ve been doing better than ever in my life. I’ve been steadily employed for five years, and just a few months ago got recruited for a job that pays more than I’ve ever made.

In late 2020, I applied for a job in technical support with a well known and very excellent web hosting company in Virginia. The stipulation was that I had to relocate to the area in which the company was based. I didn’t know the area, but we were a one income family, so we took a place that seemed affordable in Norfolk. We knew nothing about Norfolk, Virginia, and that was our first mistake.

The section of Norfolk we moved to was unpleasant. I say this because any other definition would involve words not appropriate to this forum. It was gang territory, and our time there was marked by gunshots in the night, murders almost weekly, and ultimately my wife and I being beaten by a coked-up woman on the stoop of our own apartment. All while barely making enough to survive.

When I got recruited for my current job in technical support, I became able to work from anywhere there’s an Internet connection. So we decided to leave Norfolk. We had a place lined up, but our 21 year old high-functioning autistic daughter procrastinated finding her own place, and so two days before the move we canceled our plans and told the property manager in Norfolk that we wanted to renew the lease, and paid the rent for February.

The property manager took a few days to get back to us, during which time our daughter found a home of her own. But when he did, he told us that he had already taken a deposit on the apartment, and we had to leave. So, on my next payday, we rented a van, packed everything up and headed back to Buncombe County, North Carolina, back to the mountains and the people that smile and wave and don’t shoot each other.

The move took almost all my paycheck, and cost more than we expected. We had planned to stay in a motel we know of that has reasonable weekly rates with free food, where I can work my job, but we didn’t have enough left after the move for the weekly rate. We’ve paid for what we can afford, but that only covers us for one more night. We need about $840 for two weeks for us and our dog and two cats to stay in the motel, but we also have an apartment lined up that we can move into as soon as we have $900, if no one else takes it first. We’ll take whichever we can get. Once I get my next check we’ll be good again.

So here we are, asking for about $900 to move in to an apartment, and if another $400 was added to help make our car payment that would be even more of  a blessing. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and may God bless everyone who even scans this page.

My Family Needs Help

This has been a very trying 4 months for my family. My granddaughter was born 2 months premature in Nov. and spent over a month in NICU. While she was in the NICU, my daughter developed a life-threatening infection shortly after delivery and was herself in ICU fighting for her life. I spent over a month going between hospital rooms to be with both of them.
In December, both my daughter and granddaughter were finally home from the hospital, my granddaughter was thriving, and my daughter was continuing to heal from her infection.  She had a wound vac and needed daily antibiotics injected into a midline. I was over every day to help her out, as her boyfriend went to work.
Also at that time, my brother, whom I live with, underwent back surgery. He did well with the surgery, however, developed complications later on and has not been able to return to work. I was spending my time back and forth taking care of all of them. I, myself, had to stop working to do so.
In Feb. as my daughter, her boyfriend, and their daughter, were finally looking forward to settling down and beginning their new life together as a young family, when my daughter’s boyfriend was in a horrific motorcycle accident, dragged under a car, and was dead at the scene. They were able to revive him, but he is now in the hospital and we have been told that he will be a quadriplegic. I once again had to stop working to move in temporarily with my daughter, to help her out.
Since my daughter was a high-risk pregnancy, she was put on bed rest in Sept and has not yet been able to return to work. Her boyfriend was the breadwinner of the family so, at this time they have no income coming in. Between taking care of her daughter and visits daily to the hospital to see her boyfriend, this has taken a toll on my daughter, mentally, emotionally, physically, and now financially. It has also taken a toll on my bank account, as I have not been able to work except as a caregiver to my family.
My daughter and granddaughter are being forced to move from their apartment because they are not able to pay the rent. I cannot help them as I am not able to pay the rent on the apartment I live in, as I, nor my brother, have been working. To make matters worse, in the middle of all of this, I too had a car accident that totaled my car and I sustained some injuries. I do not have a car right now, so I am dependent on my daughter when I need to go to physical therapy.
I know this all may sound unreal, and trust me, I wish it was, but unfortunately, it is not the plot of some movie, it really is my life. Although it is awkward and uncomfortable to have to ask for help, my family has no money coming in and soon will have no place to live either. We may all be living in the streets.
We need help with money for rent and for other bills such as the utilities and a car payment. It hurts to have to ask, but my family is the most important thing to me.  Please help out, no matter what size donation, it is all appreciated.

help save my home sweet home

We had to keep the lights on and have gas to go to work so a couple of mortgage payments were missed. In 2020 I lost my job as a nanny, because of Covid. With great soul searching my husband and I decided to start the process to become foster parents. At the end of 2020 we were licensed and brought some children into our home. We were and are in a position to make all our current payments. The back payments are hard to catch up on. With the missed payments comes interest, taxes, court costs, lawyers fees, filing fees etc. We are facing foreclosure and risk losing everything. Food For My Fur Babies

I’m a 22 year old who’s currently struggling in this economy. I lost my job due to personal health reasons halfway through 2020 and it’s been damn near impossible for me to find a job my community since due to my past record. I made some bad decisions about a year ago that got me into some major trouble after getting caught up in the wrong friend group and it’s honestly ruined my life. Thankfully I’ve overcome that struggle and disconnected with those people after everything all caught up with me. Being out of work this long has driven me up the wall because I feel so worthless and like a disappointment to the people closest to me. I do everything I possibly can to make money to be able to afford my rent, pet’s food, as well as myself, but with it being winter my little side hustles have been reduced to far and few. I’m currently 2.5 months late on rent (1200+lage fees) and have no idea how I’m even gonna put a dent in that margin. I only have about 2 months left on my lease and am supposed to be moving to another city afterwards, but I don’t know if that’ll even be possible since I’m behind and owe money to multiple different companies for my utilities for my current property and the last as well. Which means I’d get to live in tiny Chevy Impala with 2 large sized dogs and a kitty for a couple weeks to a month at least until my bf collects a couple checks. He already has a job lined up making at least 1000 a week being paid weekly and there’s more job opportunities out there for myself as well.. For the last year I’ve struggled with financial issues first due to hours being cut cause covid then to losing my job because I needed to get help for myself, but whenever I can get my hands on some cash it usually goes straight to my dogs and cats food because I wanna make sure they’re full and healthy, even if that means not feeding myself for the next night or two. They’re the most precious things to me in this whole entire world and I wanna be able to give them the best lives, but recently I’ve considered rehoming them due to my struggles. The thought alone kills me, so I’m trying everything I can possibly do to be able to provide for them, so it doesn’t come down to having to give them away. I honestly only eat maybe four days out of the week because groceries are so expensive around where I live. Plus there aren’t very many options to shop at unless I wanna drive an hour or more for cheaper prices, but then that means I have to drop $60 on gas then drop even more cash that I don’t have on the food itself. So no matter what I choose to do I’m in a lose-lose situation. Ive gotten to the point where I honestly dont know what to do anymore and I’m scared this struggle is going to be the end of me if I can’t figure something out soon. My family has helped so much already, but they can only do so much because they have lives and families of their own to take care of. It took me almost 6 months of struggling before i finally informed my family of my financial issues because I hate having to ask people to help me when I SHOULD be able to do this myself. I did it for the first 3 years of being on my own, so why can’t I do it now? I feel like such a burden when having to ask people for help, but sometimes it’s the only option we have, so gotta suck up the pride and ask anyways. Insurance Didn’t Help

I moved to Dayton, Ohio about 5 years ago. A year of that I served in prison for a assault on a police officer (well, two and I’m not proud). This is the house I have rented since I’ve been here. It’s home. It caught fire almost two years ago and still being repaired. Dayton is birthplace of aviation and also one of the party capitals of the world. I was fresh out of a 11 year relationship with a man that did the last five of that 11 years ended up getting my cousin pregnant. In case you’re wondering yeah I was the fool that stuck with him faithfully while he did his time. That’s not a problem just a motivation so I needed a change away from people we knew. The birthplace of aviation was also my startover. “In order to fly we must drop the all the deadweight” the deadweight” in my case the deadweight obviously being the ex. That was a blessing. I got out of prison and stepped into a real life what the fuck. I was only gone a year but everything was weird. About 4 months after my release, my house caught fire thanks to some debris inside the wall irritating the old school wiring. So here I am with my start over and don’t get me wrong, I get by with food. I still work and still even own my own online store and most of my products are handmade crafts but I’m a one woman show and it almost doesn’t get it. For now, I’m rent free because well, yeah. Im not being petty and had I not heard it from someone on the radio I wouldn’t even probably notice, of all the family, friends and strangers I’ve helped not one has even offered any type of help. The fact nobody has even asked how I am seriously pains me. My situation is not private. My mom raised me to always be helpful and not to expect anything. Random acts of kindness does something to our being. She was the same way, always helping someone, anyone. Especially those that were labeled the “outcasts/forgotten/unloved”.It was important to her to make everyone aware of their importance. While all that is true, ironically I live in my garage or truck. This entire time. I shower at truck stops or parks and if I have the money I’ll rent a room for a night. The insurance including my rental insurance only covered $8,000 in damages. Praise god that so many showed up but it was a living room fire that got the attention of 8 firetrucks. Some were from the next town. They did more damage to the house than the fire and as of now it has walls, rooms, the inside is ALMOST done. My landlord and I both have forked over out of pocket money to finish repairs. We have went thru 3 contractors. The first spent 5 months getting drunk and not working. He put the first floor windows in backwards.l among other things. The others, two different companies. One is volunteer and the one being paid shows up whenever. We have roughly  $2900 left in repairs to get done that is max top. That’s doors, wiring, and a new front room floor. I’ve discussed it with my family members I have left=my kids the “free” contractors. They’re 16 and over with school and jobs. But still do what they can. And also agreed if they could just get the supplies they’d finish it all in less than a week. Wiring is a certified contractor (yeah all these differed people). To be honest this has been an experience that has been bitter sweet. And in case you’re wondering I haven’t been in any type of criminal trouble since my release. I owe no court fines, no fees, no probation. It’s a success for me. Usually I used almost welcome some damage to enter my life to have a reason to party and fight. Always fighting. Least I got hands and I can take an beat down too. Literally and metaphorically speaking. During all this and avoiding Covid, I’ve been blessed that I haven’t caught it that whole time and even with this new “strain”. This past June (2021) I lost my dad when I didn’t have to. Have you ever got so wrapped up in life bs you’re dumb to the rest of the world? My dad had lung problems, was hospitalized a month, then sent home to wait on a lung donor. There was talk of a chance he could die he knew that-but didn’t go home TO die. He was lied to. He needed a machine to breathe and my sister made it sound so complicated like it was expensive and rare. They did have him on oxygen at home. So I figured he was still waiting it out. Hospice was there. He was on whatever drug they had him on and oxygen. He died 2 days later. After his passing I found out all he needed was a c-pap and my sister signed a dnr (do not resuscitate) while he was sleeping at the hospital. He didn’t know that. We have no way to prove any of it so-my dad was suffocated til he died. So sick. Here’s the cherry: five months later somewhere about noon in her sleep my mother passed away unexpectedly. Coroner said her heart stopped and she quit breathing. She died of a broken heart I say. Oh, they had been split up for over 30 years but we’re still good with each other as parents/grandparents. My mom lived somewhere other than him and if weren’t for her talking about things with my dads passing I’d probably be dumbfounded still. Sorry for the book but I figure why not put it out there if I’m asking for money? Do you all really care for a reason or pick a random name? Lol. I don’t know how this works at all. I know I might sound crazy as hell to some maybe all, but I don’t think I know very many that would be still standing. I keep to myself and when I talk to my kids, I keep a strong mom image. I’ve lost trust in trust lol. This is heavy. I stood strong even thru my dad passing but my moms was the feather on the jenga tower. I just want help to finish my home once and for all. The full amount is a guesstimate less is fine anything is fine. One cent a person. I just need a break and I want in my home and when it’s done I’m definitely doing a screaming crying fit and it’s long overdue and I’m taking a extra hot shower for however long til the hot water is gone. And then I’m gonna move on to living again. My store is strangely successful from starting from nothing. My income before taxes is still less than minimum wage. All those felon released from prison programs are a crock of shit. It’s a hustle for someone though so I’m not hatin, but damn.

Trying everything for my unborn Baby

  • my name is Philipp, I am 24 and I’m from germany.
  • I grew up having a great childhood, amazing parents and a beautiful home. I took piano lessons and played soccer (football). I also was in a musician school We traveled every year around the world, I loved my family and they loved me.
  • When I was 10 my mother started to go to the doctor and the hospital quiet often, everyone told me she was fine, just a bit sick sometimes.
  • When I was 11 she shaved her her and got bold, they told me she wanted to try a new look or something like that.
  • When I was 12 I visited her in the hospital, where she already went pretty often, I made her a card in school where I wrote: “get better soon, I love you to the moon and back”. I remember how she said that she will get better and will be home soon. That was the last time I trusted someone’s promises.
  • She got home a few days later..but she wasn’t good at all. She came home from the hospital with the hospital bed in which she stayed almost every day, all day long. At the first she stood up sometimes and acted pretty normal but after a couple of weeks she couldn’t stand up anymore and just stayed in this God damn bed in our living room.
  • But still everybody told me she would get better soon.  One day I came home from school where I wrote a poem for her, so I stood in front of her bed with my das and read it out loud to her. At that point she couldn’t even move anymore but my dad told me that she heard it.

I don’t know how much time went by after this but at one day, when I came home from school again, my whole family was at our house. Everyone, my aunts, my uncles, my brother and my sisters (who are 20 years older than me, so they already lived on their own).

At first I was pretty exited because i just saw them once a year, on Christmas. But when got into our kitchen and my aunt told me “come here” with tears in her eyes, I knew something wasn’t right.

 

On that day, my mother passed away because of breast cancer. I wish someone would’ve told me that she will not be good again, I wish someone would’ve told me anything. Maybe I would’ve worshipped the time I had left with her a bit more. But this way i was in complete shock.

 

After this my father had to sell the house and we moved into a small apartment. He pretty much stopped caring about me and I stopped taking piano lessons and stopped playing football. I also dropped out of the musician school and went on a regular school. So our life goes on, I got new friends and was slowly getting better because of the loss of my mother.

A couple years later, when I was 14 or 15 my father decided that he want to move to Thailand, to live there, and I had to decide for myself if I want to go with him.

It took me about a half year to get the strength to tell him that I don’t want to move to Thailand, because all of my family and my friends were here, obviously. Although he still wanted to move to Thailand and wanted me to stay with my sister and her boyfriend, who just got theirs first baby. She agreed.

Then I started to get bad at school again, sometimes I didn’t even showed up for school, but my dad didn’t cared.

They wanted me to move to her about half a year before my dad was leaving so my sister and me had some time to get used to living with each other. Like I said, we roughly saw us a couple of times a year.

It didn’t worked out at all but I had to stay there anyways and my father called me one day when I was at school and told me that his train will come soon, which will take him to the airport. He asked me if I wanted to meet him at the train station again to say goodbye, but I declined.

I regret this decision to this day.

 

Time moved on, I dropped out of school and fighted with my sister every day. It was really bad. It got that bad, that at some point on Christmas, when I was 16, I decided to move out and visit my dad for half a year in Thailand, although I still hated him for leaving me alone.

My sister was very mad at me but as my brother told me later, she wanted to kick me out anyways.

In Thailand it didn’t got better, as one could have expected I fought with my dad a lot. He still didn’t cared about me and most days ive just sat in some i ternet-cafè, ayung world of tanks. But there were good times too, dont get me wrong.

At one day, my father was taking his daily nap, when I notices weird sounds out of his room, so I walked into his room to check on him.

When I opened the door, he layed on his bed, his face was blue and he had vomit all over his pillow. I immediately jumped on his bed and grabbed his mouth to pull out his tongue, because I thought he was choking on it. Right decision.

 

Then ran out to get help, because he was unconscious, but the next house was like 500m away, maybe more. So I just started running. When I got there I screamed at them to get an ambulance (the neighbor was german too) buy they told me they can’t, because there isn’t such thing as one universal number for an ambulance, you need to know someone who knows someone who drives an ambulance. So I wanted to run back to my dad’s home but I realized that I couldn’t.  I couldn’t walk one step because every time I moved my feet it felt like they were exploding, I looked down and saw that the skin on my foot melted because of the heat of the asphalt from the street. I didn’t noticed it first because of the adrenaline in my body but now I just couldn’t walk. So I got on my hands and knees and started crawling back, but it got too hot and I started crawling on my belly.  When I got back, some thais (natives from thailand) were moving by who knew my dad as well and they called an ambulance.

I didn’t visited my dad once in the two weeks he was in the hospital because I feared that it will go the same as with my mum.

 

Later they told me he had a heavy stroke.

 

When my dad came back from the hospital, he reached out his hand to shake mine to say hello. It was fucking weird, because there was no love or anything behind this gesture. He also never believed me, that I literally saved his like, nor he ever thanked me.

 

When I got back to Germany, my sister didn’t wanted me to live with her anymore so I had to live in the streets for one and a half year u til I found a purse in a train and bought me a smartphone to write my brother, who told me to get on the train and move to him to Austria to get back on my feet.  I think I was 18 years old at that point, but I’m not 100% sure.

Everything went good and we found myself a apartment in a city in Bavaria where I knew no one and had to live on my own for the first time. (Exept when I lived in the streets)

But someday I met some people, who seemed pretty damn cool and we became “friends”, bad decision.

Turned out they were drug and alcohol addicted but I didn’t even cared anymore, I was happy to finally have some people in my life who seemed to care about me, so I hang out with them every day and do nothing else. So I lost my apartment and moved to one of them (the leader of the group). We drank a lot, got in a lot of trouble, had a lot of brawls, stole a lot of stuff. Everyday we lost more and more inhibitions.

Then it all got worse when we made it kind of “official” by naming our gang.

We stole from gas stations, broke into stores and apartments at night and even robbed people. Until we finally got caught while we broke into a restaurant.

Police were everywhere, guns were pointed, people were running (including me). But we all got caught in this night.

I regretted everything so fucking bad, I even told the police that we’ve robbed someone, although they didn’t even knew about it.

It was my first time I had to go to the court and even the policewomen, from my interrogation, told the judge that I am regretting my actions and that I helped them a lot with my statements.

Anyways the judge gave me two and a half year in prison.

I was so mad at him because it was my first time ever showing up to the court. But looking back, it was the best thing that happened to me all my life.

 

So I spent a lot of time in jail and a lot of bad things happened there but the most important thing is, that I’ve learned a lot. For example, i made 2 school graduations in there.

When I got out I moved to my brother again. But my best friend (not one of the friends from before) persuaded me to move to the same City again.

A lot of stuff happened then, I started building a life, lost it all again, did a lot of drugs, got my face tattooed and so on. But it would take forever to write it all down and my fingers starting to hurt, because I’m writing on my smartphone.  😆

So fast forward:

 

I left it all behind, I met a girl near to the town where all that shit happened, I took her and moved all the way to the other end of germany where I was born.

We are living with my 2nd sister, we are doing quiet good. We have a lot of debts, because of my fucked up life and my sister has a lot of depts too.

We are pregnant, 5th month and we want to build a life.

 

I am not asking someone to pay for my debts, nor my sisters. I’m just asking for a bit of financial help so we can afford a warm meal per day and maybe even a bed for our future baby boy.

At this time I have 2 Jobs, just as my sister, we are cleaning houses and stores.

I would love to get a better paid job but it’s hard to find someone who would hire you when you were in jail.

My name is Sabrina, Im 35, and I am a newly, by life’s inevitable tragedy, a solo, only parent to three children.  I have two boys and my youngest is a girl. On June 8,2021…. I lost my fiancé of 15 years, in a tragic car accident. He was my best friend, my partner, the father of my children.

We had both worked our entire relationship , but because he was employed by a construction company , as a fire inspector, he was laid off about two months prior, until business picked back up because they had just finished the hospital they were building. The company he worked for, discontinued his life insurance policy and emergency funding because he was being paid by unemployment 30 days before his death, and they said that’s how their company did it because he wasn’t actively paying into the funds. So…  I had no help with funeral services…. Or the rest of our natural life. I have since filed for the kids and reviewed their survivor benefits, which pays his social security to them , but only 1205$ a month. Which doesn’t do much, for someone who receives no assistance from anywhere. I did recently apply for help with food, because I don’t know when things will get better

I tried to go back to work shortly after he passed away because obviously I have to provide for my babies. That didn’t last long because  I had to quit my job (as a bartender) on august 21, because life needs some readjusting, and being gone the hours that I worked , wouldn’t work for being a mommy first. I am still trying to make it work. I do door dash and instacart when I have time or energy but it feels pointless. I am SO BEHIND on my utility bills and my mortgage. I am fearful of losing everything. My car is in desperate need for rotors and breaks and i think it probably needs some work I’m not even familiar with , it’s making a grinding noise. I’m sure it needs a lot oF things , but I would love to just get the basics fixed , pay my mortgage up to date, and catch up on all of  my utility bills so I can stop worrying about when the power or gas or water will get shut off. In Dire Need After My Money Stolen

Hi, first of all, sorry if I make mistakes in my text.

Second of all. I did not want it to come to this, but after a hacker that stole almost all of my money and identity, I need help getting back on my feet. I’m also gonna have to stop working because of a carpel tunnels operation and probably getting my big toe nails removed because they get inside my toes way to often. And I don’t have the resources to be paid only half my salary for a month or more because of my health…I just want to stop loosing sleep over money. Even just for a little while.

 

I’ve always lived on the line of poverty with my family and that never stopped. It just got worst with covid and now this goddamn hack that stole almost all my money. I just want help recovering. I don’t have a saving account anymore and all of my paycheck goes to rent and food.

 

So if anyone would please, PLEASE, help me out. I would be forever grateful. I just want to stop crying…and sleep easy. Just even once…

Homeless single mom beat heroin addiction, but needs some help getting back to self-sufficiency..

Hello! My name is Mary and I’m a 34 yr old single mother of 2 miracles! I Have been through SO much in my life and made many mistakes, but I’m finally to a place in which I’m doing really well but I am still struggling financially, despite all of the good changes I have made in my life so far. I am a recovered addict. I have battled with a heroin addiction sense I was a young teen but I got help and got sober at age 23 then got married and had 2 children and stayed sober throughout my entire 7 year marriage as a stay-at-home mother. Unfortunately, it eventually came down to a divorce and I moved out and into my own apartment just down the road, but I greatly underestimated how difficult it would be to financially support my kids and I by myself. I fell flat on my face very quickly after my car was stolen and my new job eventually had to give away my position to someone else. When the car was found, it was returned to my husband instead of me (as it was still in his name just like anything else we ever owned) but he kept my car a secret and quickly sold it and kept all the profits. If not for my 6 year old son I still to this day wouldnt know my car was ever found or returned at all. But going back to when it was first stolen.. soon after that huge loss of the car, it started to cause a series of other great losses, one after another. Car, job, then my husband cut off all contact between my kids and I and all visitation and phone calls came to a sudden end and there was nothing I could do about it sense the divorce hadn’t even been filed yet and no custody schedule was in place. Then next was losing my apartment and everything in it because of an eviction. All my belongings that couldnt fit into one gym bag had to be left behind because I had no car to move anything out with. So I lost everything I owned within a couple weeks and was now homeless, downtown Salt Lake City. I had lost everything important to me, most of all, my kids! Being suddenly cut off from my kids was more than I knew how to cope with, sense being a full-time stay at home mom and spending every second of each day sense birth with my kids was all them or I even knew! So I was in a dark place after that & I’d worry myself sick thinkin about what they might be going through. I didn’t know what else to do but to go towards the shelters, in the worst parts of town, then I was surrounded by drugs. That’s when I finally gave up and gave in and unfortunately, relapsed. I fell deep into drugs again for the first time in almost 10 years and I continued on like that and while living/sleeping outside for an entire year before my IV drug use led to a condition called endocarditis that required emergency open heart surgery to save my life. I nearly died, but it was the kick I needed to wake me up! I have been sober ever sense that day, which was about a year and a half ago now. After recovering from heart surgery I did 4 months of intensive, inpatient, drug treatment. Then I moved back home with my parents, I took care of my pending legal matters and got a full-time job. I also fought to get my kids back as well, but I’m still fighting to get more time with them and to get whats fair in this divorce in general. I have never received any financial support, not even child support at any point sense the divorce started 3 years ago, and it will stay that way at least until the divorce is final, which could be another year away from what I’ve seen.. So I’m relying on my own income for now. My current and next goal is saving up for a car, and the bigger goal is to pay off my past eviction balance, and then eventually also save up enough money to get into my own place again, closer to my kid’s school so that I can have them 50% of the time. Right now, I just live too far to drive them to school each morning so I only see them on weekends right now. I’ve done the math, and even with a full-time job I only make half what my monthly expenses will be when I am living on my own again and supporting my kids. Sense I was a stay-at-home mom for so long I have no education or credit of my own and have limited work experience, so my earning capacity is very minimal. So, every day is a struggle financially and I’ve been trying to think of other ways to bring in more money to help me make it, to help me get back on my feet somehow and be one step closer to becoming the self sufficient, responsible mother my children deserve! Anything at all add’s up and would help one way or another to go towards a car or pay off debts. I could never say thank you enough for any amount of help I do receive, but still.. thank you so much!! And also thank you so much for just hearing my story too, I know its a lot to read. Can anyone help?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I’ll start from the beginning. In March 2020 I lost my job when the company I worked for went out of business overnight. Couple weeks later we went into lockdown. I went from a comfortable salary to being penniless.

I unfortunately became a victim of a scam and lost a lot money.

I  lived off my savings, where I could, but sadly the emotional effects of loosing my career and being separated from family and friends during lockdown led me to depression, and spending money that I didn’t have.

Roll on two years later I am working hard to put things right.

I’m now back in full time employment, and to some aspect in much better, positive frame of mind.

However despite my best efforts to turn my life around – I’m still struggling to clear my debt, which at the moment stands at £7,555 on 2 credit cards, plus £2000 on a loan.

At the moment I don’t see any light at the end of tunnel. It’s constantly occupying my mind how I am going to clear this debt, and I don’t want to fall back into that dark hole that once occupied me.

I have already sold many belongings to try raise more money and looking at other ways to raise cash, including the last of my savings to pay off this debt.

I would be eternally grateful if you are able to help, with whatever you can give.

In desparate need

Hi I hope whoever reading this is doing well. I have just graduated from University and landed a junior role and for the past half a year been working and saving up money to move. All of that changed in recent months as I have seen my bank account go from around ~10000 to ~-11000 and now I feel like im in deep trouble as I have nothing for the month.

You are probably wondering how i managed to get this low, I am at the lowest point in my life and I dont know what to  do. My leverage trading lead to this. I started leverage trading a little about a year ago and stopped doing so as it felt like too much to deal with. Recently, couple of months ago I went back to leverage trading and I decided to trade my investments that I managed to accumulate over the past year. Over that period I managed to loose half of my profits from investing and revenged traded until I lost all my investments. That money meant so much to me as it could of been used to mortgage a new house. From there I decided that I wanted to get that money back so what did I do? I used my personal money to trade again so I can make back what I had lost. I used that money, had a couple of wins but overall lost big and at that point I couldnt live with my self. Now I have not only lost my investments but my hard earned cash. I was an emotional wreck and probably was not thinking straight. I decided to take a loan worth 3000 with the mission of gaining my personal money. After loosing that loan I had to take out another load to repay the previous loan I took out and now it became a never ending cycle, until I cannot borrow anymore money and I have no money.

I regret every decision that was made and I wish I can reverse time and stop myself before it was too late. I have some images attached to show some proof of my bank statements. I haven’t told my family yet and everyday thinking about it gives me anxiety as I have let most of them down. My mental state has been declining. I haven’t been able to sleep some nights and my thoughts drift to the point where I sometimes cant focus in work. I am reaching out to any one that can help I wouldn’t be if I wasn’t desperate.
