Hello all! My name is Alyssa and I am a 29 year old single mother who is at a complete loss. In 2020, I took a job as a “Area Manager” for KBS. Up until August of 2022 I was able to perform the job duties properly and had absolutely no problems. Within the 2 years of this job, I was able to begin buying a house, a car, and finally giving my children the best life I could afford.
In September of 2022, My children’s father passed away and now this left me with the sole responsibility of my children 24/7. My job required a lot of over nights and long hours. With their dad no longer here, I couldn’t do the duties of said job and because of inability to meet required job performances, I was let go.
It took me about a month in a half to find a job that would work with the schedule I needed to fit my children’s needs as well. After starting my new job, I totaled my car one morning while driving home and because money was so tight at the time, car insurance was one thing I had to let go.
I am now 4 months behind on my mortgage payments and about to lose the only good thing left I have for me and my children. I hate asking for help but $1000.00 is what I pay monthly alone for just my mortgage. If you can please help me so that being homeless is not the next adventure for my children and I.
