Almost 28 weeks pregnant and broke

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in early October. We are beyond excited to be parents and snuggle our little boy.

It’s unfortunate that at this time, we are completely broke. I almost wish I could tell a crazy story as to what happened or explain an unforeseen expense, but the hard truth is that years of poor money management, living outside of our means and ordering too many pizzas has caught up with us. We are also about 25k in debt, and that doesn’t include my student loans. We have a high car payment and a high mortgage payment as well. In the last 4 months, I have cut back in every way possible, but somehow the funds just still aren’t there.

We can’t pay our mortgage on time this month, and waiting until we can will create a viscous cycle, putting us in the same position next month.

I am an elementary teacher and the bulk of my maternity leave will go unpaid. I just hope to catch up on some bills and be in a less stressful place before baby arrives. We are currently not in a position with either of our families to ask for money.

Our baby deserves the best start to life, and we can’t risk losing his home. He will be our greatest adventure and is already our biggest joy. We want to make ends meet and be able to purchase the things he needs before he is here. We also have an 8 month old puppy who needs to be spayed in August. She is becoming a fur sister more quickly than we thought she would, and we don’t want her needs to fall by the wayside for any reason.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hard times

Hi, my name is Ross.  I have a wife and two kids.  For the last 7 months I have been dealing with back issues and unable to work.  For the first 5 months I was getting disability pay through my work at 50% of my normal paychecks.  I no longer recieve disability pay and I am still in the process of going to different doctors and specialists to figure out exactly what is going on with my back. I am currently back to work with a lot of restrictions and working less than 40 hours every 2 weeks.  My 16yr old son is working and using his paycheck to help his mother and I pay our bills.  I can’t even begin to tell you how that makes me feel as a father, asking my son to help pay the bills his mother and I are suppose to be responsible for.

As of this moment, we are a month behind on our mortgage with this months mortgage due in a few days as well.  Thanks to the food shelf and local food programs, nobody is going to bed hungry at least.

$2500 would go a long way to getting our heads back above water.

I just want to thank you for taking the time to read this, and I greatly appreciate any and all help!

Thanks,

Ross

In need of a financial blessing for mortgage & bills

Hi, my name is Jackie, I am married. We are in need of financial assistance. In 2012 we lost our son to gun violence as he went to a family reunion out of state and ended up in the wrong place. I am cosmetologist. But when that happened with my son it  was like everything just left my body. I went into a mental stage with major depression. But after a couple years I pushed myself to get back up and try to live for my other 3 kids and grandkids. Then in 2017 I lost my 12 year old grand son he was spending the night at a friend a friend house and as he was leaving out to go home two other kids saw a gun in a chair in which the mom of the house was in the military left the gun in the chair and the two kids went to grab the gun and as my grandson was walking out the house the gun went off and shot my grandson in the neck. There I was again back in the stage where I tried to push myself so hard to get out of. My world turned upside down. But through it all I can say I made with through with the help and strength of God. In 2019 I had a surgery to have two lumps removed out of my breast. During the surgery I had a stroke & seizures. I made it through that. March 5 2023 I had a colonoscopy ended up having seizures during that. Couldn’t walk now but now I am waking but I’m dealing with a pricked nerve from when I was in the hospital they hit my nerve with a needle. It’s a lot to share but I will make it short. We have a mortgage and it’s due my husband is struggling trying to keep the builds a float by himself we are behind on paying. We had a church that we was pastoring we had to let it go because the bills started piling up. I’m just asking for some assistance to help us pay off our mortgage and to try to get our church back we always fed the homeless. But now since my husband is the only one trying to pay the bills. It’s like we are losing everything. We are behind on our car payment. We really need a financial breakthrough until I can get back on my feet to help my husband. It is really hurtful to see him needing the help and I can’t help. If you can please help us.

Thank you.

Broke and Can’t Afford My Mortgage and Bills!!

Hi. My name is Georgia. I have three daughters and we live in Augusta, GA. My Mother and I recently opened an independently owned restaurant, but we started in the riskiest way possible. We took out personal loans to use as startup funds and were on path to pay back these loans with the revenues from food sales. Due to inexperience, we endured numerous setbacks which resulted in reduced revenues. This led to us having to use our available personal fund reserves to cover the business expenses, debts, and payroll. I also did a cash out refinance of my home mortgage that increased my monthly payment by $900 and used all the money to fund the business account. Current monthly mortgage is $2,574.98 (not including late fees). And personal credit card debt is almost $40k. All of our personal funds have depleted, and I personally haven’t been able to pay my mortgage and credit card bills since March 2023. We could really use any financial assistance that you can give us.

Thank you!

Unemployment has me hostage

Hi, so I lost my job in February of 2023. I attempted to apply for unemployment only to find out that I was blocked. Upon speaking with unemployment it was discovered that a claim was initiated as I was working in 2022. My previous employment was 3.5 yrs.
At this point, I had to wait 3 weeks for a Zoom appt to verify my identity. I have 100% satisfied the requirements and was told it may take 6 to 8 weeks to be “Scrubbed” by the “Professionals”.
Months passed and I called every week after 8 weeks to be told that nothing is updated. I asked to speak with these “Professionals” and was told it is impossible, they are too busy.
It is now July, and I am behind in my mortgage, I single-handedly bought on 2021 & now my home is in jeopardy, I have begged and borrowed for my electric and water & sewer bills. My credit card companies are aware but are happy to continue to charge fees! My credit score has dropped to 465.
I have contacted my state’s governor and placed complaints where I needed. To NO avail.
I am asking for anything to help me stay afloat until I find work. I am a 26-year chairside dental assistant still looking for work.

Husband was downsized

Hello,

My name is Abby and I could use your assistance. I know this is a long shot, but if it would be possible for you to send me some money, I would be incredibly grateful. A million, or a couple hundred thousand, or anything like that would be a drop in the bucket for you, but would mean the whole world to me and my family.

I am a nurse, and I am working full time while also taking online classes to work towards my bachelors degree and then a masters as a nurse practitioner. Therefore my already significant student loans are continuing to grow each semester. My husband and I just got married in April, and while we worked hard to keep the wedding small and affordable, it still drained us pretty badly. We are also trying to plan our honeymoon as we have yet to take one.

On top of all of that, my husband just lost his job 2 days ago. Despite having some of the best numbers in his department at the insurance company he worked for, they are going through massive layoffs and decided he had to go. He is actively looking for something now, but this is not the best situation for us.

My husband and I also are very excited to become parents, and want to try to have children soon, but we know children are quite financially draining, so we are trying to get things in order. We will also need a new vehicle once we DO have a child, as our current car is only a two-seater.

So once again I ask: would you be able to send us some money, or do anything else to help us out? I wouldn’t have anything to offer in return except my undying gratitude.

Thank you for reading this plea, and I hope you have a wonderful day. IMG_9630.jpeg

Mortgage assistance

Good Morning my name is Robin. I am a mother of two. I am reaching out to you because, I am in dire need of mortgage assistance. I’m currently facing a financial hardship due to leaving my dead end job to further my education.

I worked at a company taking care of individuals for 15 years. I worked my way up from caregiver to residential supervisor. In my 15 years there I held 3 positions. Once I made it to residential Supervisor. That was as far as I could progress in the company without a degree. I entered that position December 29, 2019. Just before the pandemic. I loved the position because I was able to advocate for the clients on so many levels.

Everything was going well until, the pandemic started to strike within the company. The staff that I supervised started to become ill with the virus and began spreading it to clients. many staff quit due to fear. So I was left short staffed. due to the shortage in staff I had to work double shifts on a regular basis. Most times 6 days per week. I did my duties as a supervisor during the day and worked as house staff second shift. At times I would have no staff available and I would work a residence with 6 clients alone.  I ran two residences at the time and we were constantly on quarantine. One of my clients became extremely ill. I sat with her in my PPE on a regular basis. She asked me not to let her die. she later passed away. I grieved over her for a long while.

That is when I decided I had enough and that I needed to better my education so that i could obtain a better career. So I left my Job Dec. 22, 2021  and enrolled in SIUC. My major is psychology. I was able to maintain my bills with financial aid up until a few months ago. I had some car trouble and a few issues in my home. so the money that I had saved for bills was spent.

I am behind a few months on my mortgage now and I fear foreclosure. I am kindle asking for $6000 dollars to assist me in my time of need. I will be sure that every cent goes towards my mortgage. I am also searching for employment at this time. Thank you for reviewing my request it means the world to me. Even if you are unable to assist me. I completely understand my pay pal link is paypal.me/aspiringbw excuse my pay pal name I made it a while back and I’m unable to change it at the moment. Thank you

$11,000 would help me towards a home loan with program Naca.com

I was married with my x husband for more then 20 years. He was very verbal abusive. I felt I needed to stay with him to keep the family together. My x husband was so negative that we had to get rid of our house in 20963 E 40th pl Denver CO 80249, we had to do a short sale and he decided to rent, that’s how negative he was. A family of 5 living in a 2 bedroom apartment because he preferred it that way. My boys decided to join the military and at the moment they are independent. One is living on the base and the other is working, and got his degree to move up in the military, so he is going back. I divorced in 2021. My daughter has depression since 2016. A therapist told me she was suicidal and gave me a lock box for sharp objects and medication. I was living in a studio with my daughter since my x wouldn’t give me child support. I couldn’t get FMLA quick to keep an eye on my daughter after I found out she is suicidal so I moved in with my sister in Fountain CO because she works from home and she can keep an eye on my daughter. My daughter was doing way better since she got along well with her cousins. I have a friend background Italian  American, if you would like to include some help for him too I can email his name since he doesn’t know I am including him on this story, so his name at the moment is private. He was living in his van because he had it worse the me with his x wife. We are just friends and room mates. Colorado is cold so I offered that we can help each other with rent. We are renting a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment. He has the master bedroom with a restroom. I have one bedroom for myself and one for my daughter and a restroom for me and my daughter. He was so depressed because he doesn’t see his son and he is paying about $800 for child support. I am paying $1,000 for my part of the rent and he is paying about $600. I pay the electricity and he pays the internet, water and gas. He now found a great job, I am working from home for a good health care insurance company and this month is the last month my room mate has to pay child support. I am working on paying off my debt and I am very close. My debt is now about $1,500. My credit was bad after my divorce since I was on my own without child support. Thanks to living with my sister I paid off most of my debt. I can’t live forever with my sister  and I felt they needed privacy  and so did we. We are living with my Italian American friend and making sure he is doing well. And he is helping us too. But we don’t have savings for a down payment for a permanent home. Naca has a program for 0 down but when I attended their online work shop they talked about fee’s that add up to $11,000. I can have a permanent home for me, my daughter, and an additional room for my sons when they are back. I really would like to help my room mate in some way. If you would also like to help him I will give you his name in an email, in private, since he doesn’t know I am including him in my story. He has a son and he was very depressed because his x wife would say negative things to his son so his son wouldn’t visit him. He would like to have a permanent home for him and his son since his son is a little older and is understanding more  and talking to his dad more. My room mate is driving a bad old van that breaks down often,  he needs a car to get to work. I have moved about 100 times in my life and would be nice to finally buy a permanent home and my friend has been moving allot too. I am glad I found him to help each other but we have different tastes and I feel we can’t be a couple. But I still want him to be happy. We are here for a reason, we meet people for a reason, to help each other. We have a good job but we don’t have a saving, we were paying our debt and we are almost done. This wouldn’t only help me but also my daughter and my two sons because anything that is mine will end up being theirs. And they have a place to stay. If you would like to help my friend it will also help his son and my room mate, his mother needs help too it would help 3. My room mate has a mother living in Corning NY that needs help and he plans to bring her to Colorado. He can use the same program Naca. I can show him how. Or he can try FHA depending on credit and any $ will help towards down payment or closing costs. Or a car for work. I love my work from home job, I can stay with the same healthcare company for ever but I also would like to start other projects to bring more income. My future goal is after I move into a permanent home, is to get started on  3 affordable projects I have in mind that will hopefully bring more income and since part has to do with a channel on YouTube, it can bring enough to help others. But at the moment I need to concentrate on me and my family and also help my friend. If you send enough for $11,000 I will be so thankful. If you send more then $11,000. I will give that to my friend.

Thank you in advance. Blessings to you and your family. God will give you more. God is my witness that all that I said in this post is true.

A Plea for Stability and Belonging: Help Us Preserve Our Home and Community

We are the Gaoa (first a is silent) family—a humble, hardworking family of four, living a beautiful life filled with love, companionship, and dreams. Today, we reach out to you with a plea for help, as our cherished home and beloved community face an uncertain future.

For the past five years, we have rented our cozy abode, nestled in the heart of a community that has become an integral part of our lives. Our children, Manixx and Raygan, have grown up here, forging lasting friendships and finding their passions through sports teams and school activities. We have celebrated birthdays, shared laughter, and shed tears of joy within these walls, and the sense of belonging we feel here is immeasurable.

While we work tirelessly to provide for our family, the past 2 years have been a challenging one. Like so many others, we were hit hard by the devastating effects of the pandemic. Both my husband and I lost our jobs, leaving us in a state of financial uncertainty. Despite our best efforts, we struggled to keep up with our obligations and fell behind on some payments, including credit cards and our car loan, amounting to $25,000 in debt.

However, we never lost hope or determination. With the gradual easing of restrictions and renewed job opportunities, we managed to catch up on our rent in a single month, prioritizing our family’s stability above all else. Although this setback adversely affected our credit score, we have been relentlessly working towards rebuilding it, often feeling like we’re climbing an uphill battle.

Sadly, our landlord has recently informed us of their intention to sell the house we have come to call home. While we understand their decision, it has left us facing an agonizing reality. Without the means to secure a down payment or the creditworthiness required to obtain a mortgage, we find ourselves at a crossroads.

This is where we humbly request your assistance. We are seeking a generous heart willing to lend a helping hand by providing us with $214,000—the amount needed to purchase the house we have grown to love. We understand the magnitude of this request, and we are immensely grateful for your consideration.

By granting us this extraordinary opportunity, you would not only be securing a roof over our heads but also preserving the stability and happiness of our entire family. Our children’s hearts would be filled with immeasurable joy, knowing they can continue to call this community their home and maintain the relationships they hold dear.

We assure you that your investment would not go in vain. We are fiercely determined to regain financial stability and will work diligently to honor any repayment terms or agreements that we can establish together. Your trust in us would be met with unwavering gratitude, and we would make every effort to demonstrate our appreciation in meaningful ways.

Your act of kindness would not only impact our lives but also inspire a ripple effect of positivity within our community. It would serve as a testament to the power of compassion and reinforce our belief that unity and support can overcome any obstacle.

We hope our story has touched your heart and resonated with the values you hold dear. We kindly request you consider helping us acquire our home, the place where countless memories have been etched into our souls. With your support, we can continue to foster love, stability, and growth within our family, ensuring that the bonds we have formed in this community remain unbroken.

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and consider our humble request. May life’s blessings surround you, and may the kindness you show today to be returned to you tenfold.

Financial Hardship

My story begins with the COVID pandemic 2020, and seems to be neverending! Due to the shutdown and slow recovery from the COVID pandemic I ended up losing my job. I was able to find a job, but for $5.00 per hour less than I was making at my previous job plus my previous job had unlimited overtime that I was taking full advantage of! Due to the fact that I had just built my dream home it became very challenging because my house was financed under my previous income . I was 52 years old at that time just building my first home, so remained hopeful that things would go back to normal and I’d be able to pull my finances back up to where it used to be. But because my mortgage payment was more than my biweekly paycheck, I started to exhaust my savings. I talked to my supervisor and was able to pick up some overtime that made it a little easier. I wasn’t able to do anything else but pay my bills, but I was still remaining hopeful.. until November 2021, I got COVID pneumonia, I was hospitalized for 3 weeks then released with a 3 months recovery. I was out of work with only a percentage of my pay. Which totally wiped out all savings and I was pretty much behind on everything after that! Because of ongoing health issues due to the COVID pneumonia I wasn’t able to pick up the extra hours like I used to. After I got well enough to where I didn’t need my oxygen tank everywhere I go, I applied for a better job that would increase my pay. I received a job offer and accepted it! Although it still didn’t match my income before the pandemic when I started, it would within a couple of years. I started this new job August 2022, I was so excited! I felt like I could relax a little and enjoy my new home! But!! April 2023 The Company that I am now working for, stopped all production! We are on short hours but still clocking in Monday thru Thursday doing nothing! I am now 55years old and terrified that if I get laid off, will I get a job that handles my debt, my savings are gone so I don’t have anything to hold me over. I did look into selling my house, which is heartbreaking! But rent in my area, is very little different than my mortgage. And my debt to income ratio has my hands tied on other options!

My take home pay biweekly is $1200, my mortgage is $1552, car $535, car insurance $110, Furniture bill $240, along with light, water, gas, credit cards, if it wasn’t for credit cards I probably wouldn’t have food to eat!

I just want any help I can receive because it’s getting so overwhelming I can barely sleep through the night. I’m so afraid I’m going to get laid off! Any help is welcomed.

Sincere Regards,

Downpayment on a home

I am a CNA not making mush money so I am not able to save a lot. I am curently going through a divorce and had to leave my husbands house.  I am presently rent a room and need to have more space but cannot afford downpayment on a home.  I know I can pay a mortgage of $1,200 to 1,400 but the downpayment is the problem.   I also know that there lenders that will give me a mortgage at 0 downpaymen, ( Ive tried that before). but a o downpayment  will put me at a higher  mortgage monthly payment that I cnanot afford.  Also, the reason why I have the need to buy a house is that my son is cusrrently sleeping in his car. Because  he lost his job his girlfriend put him out.   As a mother,   I want to purchase a 2 bedroom home so he can have one of the rooms.  my heart is paining me knowing that I am not able to help him, and to know that he is a real good person.  As I said before I am working really hard, I work about 66hrs a week, but base on my pay , I just cannot do it alone.  I truly need the help of my community to purchased my home.   I am looking to raise about $50,000 for downpayment on a house, Which willl give me a lower monthly mortgage payment.   I want to thank all of the contributors  in advance for been so kinghearted, for helping people like me.  Thank you.

A Humble Request for Assistance in Resolving Our Mortgage Crisis

First and foremost, I Thank You for your time and consideration to help me and my family.  I hate asking, it’s so hard for me to do so, but I’m at the point of desperation.  I find myself in a difficult situation and I am compelled to seek assistance. It is with a heavy heart that I write to request your help in resolving the imminent crisis regarding our back mortgage payments.

Allow me to share a glimpse into our journey and the challenges we have faced in recent times. Until 2020, I was fortunate to have a stable home-based business that provided for my family’s needs. However, with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, our lives took an unexpected turn. Like so many others, my business suffered greatly as over half of my clients were unable to continue their support due to the pandemic’s economic impact. Despite relentless efforts, I have been unable to fully recover my client base, leaving us with a substantial income deficit.

Complicating matters further, my 16-year-old son has been dealing with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that has brought immense challenges to our daily lives. His condition requires constant care and attention, often compelling me to decline new client opportunities to be there for him. While providing this care is a privilege and a responsibility I wholeheartedly embrace, it has created a financial strain that I am struggling to manage.

My family has always striven to be responsible citizens, paying our taxes and fulfilling our obligations to the best of our abilities. However, the combination of diminished income and the demands of my son’s condition have put us in a position where we find ourselves two months behind on our mortgage payments. This situation weighs heavily on us, as losing our home would be devastating not only to our financial stability but also to our emotional well-being.  We’ve already done the Forbearance Plan, but still find ourselves struggling and can’t take out any more loans.  We’ve also tapped out friends and family, this is our last hope.

I humbly reach out to all of you with the hopes that you might consider extending a helping hand during this trying time. Any assistance you can provide towards resolving our back mortgage payments would alleviate an immense burden and provide us with a renewed sense of hope. We firmly believe that with a little help, we can regain stability and chart a path toward a brighter future.

Please know that your consideration and support would not only impact our lives directly but would also reinforce our belief in the inherent goodness and compassion of humanity. We remain committed to doing our very best and strive to overcome these obstacles, bolstered by the kindness of individuals like yourself, and I definitely plan on paying the kindness I receive to others, I totally believe in that.  My goal is $5000 to cover back mortgage and late fees.

Thank you for taking the time to read my heartfelt plea. I will be forever grateful for your empathy, and we hope for a positive response that will help us navigate this challenging chapter in our lives.

With the deepest gratitude, V.H. paypal.me/varrismarketing

CARETAKER SEEKING HELP

My name is Stephanie, I don’t know how or where to start, I have had a life time of troubles and hardships but I always got by mostly with the help of my mother. She died last year having found melanoma cancer already in her spine, 11 years prior she had lost her left eye to the same cancer and was able to beat that by taking her eye. then after that she came down with microvascular brain disease, She was a mess but she fought so hard.  Any who She lost her battles June 10, 2022. meantime, my stepdad had began having his own medical issues I helped him also. I had 3 children, 2 who live with myself in my mothers and step dads home. and one who had passed away at 2 months old due to SIDS years ago. After a divorce from a controlling husband who I gave everything I had built in the divorce. And I mean by built is that I went back to school for Criminal justice became a corrections officer losing precious memories with my kids( had a heart attack at 29, Myocarditis )had to resign. All to support my family I bought car, house, everything. in return he lost the house from not paying taxes and everything my children and I had there, without reaching out to us. even my fathers things that was there because he had lived with us because I also take care of him for many many years, he is a Vietnam Veteran with paranoid schizophrenic mental disability. I had a job, shortly before my mother became ill again and I had to then take care of her. It is very stressful at this time because I feel I can not take care of anyone. My father I had to put in a high rise and check on him. living with kids in step dads house, My son has a history and taking meds for depression, mostly from his father bailing on him after he lost everything he had clothes, trophies, toys, etc… ( my sons life was in that house). my daughter ( also has history of depression) is now pregnant and I don’t know how I can get her what she needs for baby although she can help herself and stuff I feel like I cant help with anything there. then my step dad offers me the house for 40,000 because he is about to retire and has medical issues himself that he will not be able to keep up payments. I cant do that I haven’t worked because all I do is look after everyone else, So not like I can get a loan but I’ll surely do what I need to keep my mommas home a home for me and my children. guess grandchildren too now. I am lost in every way possible and I am ashamed to even stoop to beg for some money to save up for what comes next, house, grandbaby, sick elderly, etc… I guarantee your donation to me will not go in vain, I never spend money on myself and live on hand me downs, I don’t need much and my wants are shorter, everything I do and have is for those around me that I can help. family or friends. I’m just in a bad spot right now and need some assistance if anyone is willing to help a woman out in a time of need, Thank you for taking the time to read my story, I’m not a great writer either ugh, I could say so much more but I don’t know if it would confuse you from my scramble writings lol

Thank you and may god bless you for blessing me….paypal.me/Kaylakreations4u
