My name is Megan and I am currently 24 years old. For the past nearly 2 and a half years I have been unemployed to help my sister with her kids. She has an almost 4 year old, and almost one year old. Since her first was born (four years ago in November), I have been watching him every week. I was watching him four to even six days a week for 10 to twelve hours a day while his parents were at work. I do this solely to help them out, and I do not get paid. I would never ask for them to pay me for watching their kids, I love them as if they were my own. When I first started watching them, I did have a job. My job took away my main source of income (livechat). Then the only way I could make money was less than a dollar per ticket response. I was not able to make much money at all. So, I left this job to focus on helping out my sister and boyfriend.
My boyfriend and I live with my parents at the moment. We have been living here to try and pay off all of our debt and save up money to get a house. I also drive my boyfriend to and from work as we have a single car. We have finally paid off most of our debt. I still have a student loan that I owe around $3600 on, but as I am unemployed my payment is $0 a month. I do still want to pay this off. I don’t like the feeling of having debt that I still owe.
We are finally about to start saving up for a house which I am so excited and proud of! The main reason I am posting on here, is to help out my family. My brother, sister, and even both mine and my boyfriend’s parents. I want to be able to help them out as much as possible. The money would go toward my parent’s mortgage and debt, my brother’s debt, and my sister’s debt and mortgage. We are just a family trying to get by.
I in no way feel like I need money more than anyone. I know there are so many people out their that deserve and need the money so much more. I hate to ask for money, and if I don’t get any that is just fine. But I will try anything to help out my family. Thank you for your time, I really appreciate anything!
