I am a humble person asking for help and I appreciate anything you can offer. I am doing my best to support my family and give it all I have. We are lucky to be very healthy and happy. We had a business failure about 4 years ago that we were half owners of and destroyed our credit and left us with lots of bills we were responsible for. I am lucky to have a decent job since then and have recovered pretty well so far. We have been renting a small basement apartment for the last 3 years and we are so close to getting a mortgage again. We are going through NACA to get a mortgage, which takes time and effort, but is a good option for us. We have paid off so many things, worked every little side job we can, budgeted every penny, saved our monthly “payment shock” (required for our mortgage to show we can afford new mortgage payment vs what we pay in rent now) and my family has been great about it all! Our last step to get the NACA mortgage is paying off the 2 remaining collections I have on my credit. The image shows the 2 collection accounts. Our next follow up NACA meeting is Feb 16th and to be approved, we need the “Jefferson collection” paid off for $1035. (the other can come in April) The agency said they would settle for $850 and remove from credit. So, I am asking for the $850 to pay and remove that collection, to be able to be approved at our Feb 16th meeting.
Thank you so much and many positive vibes your way!
