I am asking for Any financial help in regards to getting away from my MIL as fast as possible. I am eight month pregnant with my first child and me and my husband are living in her house.
She wants to be in charge of everything, including taking away my son with her, so she can raise him as she wants. We can not say anything to her, as the house that we are living in is hers. When we told her that the child will not be named after her or her husband, she got really mad and from then on, she keeps nagging that we change the name.
She comes everyday to the house, inspecting if we are keeping it clean and neat (we are, when I know she is coming over, I get PTSD from her past visits and clean every possible thing, even when pregnant). The last time she came over, she noted that it is not clean behind the fridge. I can not move it alone to clean there and my husband is at work the whole day. I am keeping the house clean, but I feel that nothing is enough for her.
I am asking for money so we can move out as fast and far away as possible. The bank is rejecting me any loan, as I am on maternity leave and my husband is already 500 000$ in debt due to his father bussiness.
I have chosen and apartment for me, my husband and the baby, but it costs 50k that we currently do not have. I am trying to find any side job that I can do, so we can collect the money and get the apartment. An elderly couple is selling it, so we would have to make entire renovation to it, but it is not our first concern. The first thing that we have to do is get away from our current house, as the stress that I am experiencing is enormous and I don’t want to expose the baby to it anymore.
The elderly couple is okay with us to pay for the apartment in several instalments and I am hoping that I can get them from my maternity pay, from any donations and from help from my family and friends.
I am attaching a picture of the room that will be the baby room once renovated.
Any help is appreciated, I will give any updates when I can. I am hoping to get the money before the baby is born.
