My name is Daryl Benjamin, a hardworking truck driver, I found myself in a terrifying situation one sunny afternoon. As I was about to drive my truck, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest and struggled to catch my breath. Realizing something was seriously wrong, I quickly called for an ambulance. Within minutes, the paramedics arrived and rushed me to the nearest hospital (CHRISTIANA HOSPITAL). The doctors and nurses immediately sprang into action, performing a series of tests to determine the cause of my distress. It was soon discovered that I had a blood clot in my lungs, a condition known as pulmonary embolism (PE). The next few days were a blur for me as I fought for my life in the hospital. I was hooked up to various machines, receiving oxygen and medication to dissolve the clot. The doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to stabilize me and provide the necessary treatment. During the time in the hospital, it took several weeks to start feeling ok, thanks to prayers from family members and friends. Now going through what I have been through I have now currently a major Hernia (FROM GOING UNDER GUT TO GET BLOODCLOT) also left me with neuropathy in feet. After leaving the hospital and going in rehab my dept has accumulated immensely, reaching. 35k total dept regarding mortgage, kids, hospital bills, electric, and all credit cards which by now been charged off, I’m officially at ROCK BOTTOM with an amazing testimonial of my story THAT GOD IN CONTROL. In conclusion, my journey through the harrowing experience of pulmonary embolism has left me in a state of financial need.
