After consulting with medical professionals it has been determined that these issues are directly linked to my breast implants.To alleviate my symptoms and regain my health, my medical team has strongly recommended breast explant surgery. This procedure involves the removal of my breast implants and is the most viable solution for addressing the underlying cause of my illness. By removing these implants, I hope to find relief from the physical and mental challenges I have been facing and regain a normal life.However, the financial burden associated with breast explant surgery and related costs is significant and beyond my means. Although the FDA recognizes the above symptoms as related to Breast Implant Illness there is yet to be an ICD code for BII. Due to this, it is unfortunate that my (and others) insurance does not cover the cost of this surgery.
