Hello. I got sick March 2022 and needed to have Open Heart Surgery due to severe mitral valve regurgitation. My journey has been rough. In June 2022, my surgical wound got infected and they open me back up to make sure there was not an infection in my heart/valve. I was sent home on two very strong IV antibiotics that my body had a toxicity to and was back in the hospital for three weeks in July 2022. The toxicity caused my body to slowly shut down and damaged my kidneys. I was referred to a nephrologist and they referred me to get put on the kidney transplant list. have been in and out of the hospital four times since then with my recent hospital stay of 2,5 weeks in July 2023. I was excited to find out on August 1, 2023 that I was approved for the Kidney/Transplant list only to have my dreams crushed by my employer on the same day – they let me go for being in the hospital but they blamed it on my productivity being low for the time I was in the hospital. My family has used up all our savings and my husband has not been able to work because of all my hospitalizations and having to take me 5 hours away to Jacksonville to get listed. I will need to stay in Jacksonville a month after surgery on top of being able to pay my household bills and take care of our 2 teenage boys at home, Times have been really hard recently and I hope you can understand why. We need help and will greatly appreciate any help that will not take away from anyone elses needs. Thank you reading and thanks in advance for your help! PayPal.Me/TheIngrams214
