About two weeks ago, I received a surprising diagnostic of early endometrial cancer. This rock my whole world. As it is am a single parent of an amazing 15 years old girl, who struggles to keep afloat financially. Now, I am facing unexpected medical bills, and not being able to work for a while, I am going crazy. This past week, I had a total bilateral hysterectomy, and am currently awaiting the pathology results which will determine if I will need radiation and chemotherapy. I started an unsuccessful go fund me campaign for what I thought was the amount of the bills so far, but to my surprise my medical bills as of now are close to 10k. Note that I don’t usually ask for money and this feels very uncharacteristic of me, but am desperate.
