Hi my name is Cheri, I am from New York and I have lived in Arizona for the last 20 years. I absolutely love it here I love the warm weather. My mom came out to live with me and my boys after she needed a lot of care and I took care of her and worked full time. With the help of a wonderful caregiver that took care of her while I was at work everything worked out great. Unfortunately when I was giving her a shower one Saturday afternoon as I helped her up from the shower chair she grabbed me around my neck and almost fell on me and the result of that I tore my meniscus on my right knee. Of course I had to have surgery and it was much much better. Now I need a knee replacement on that same right knee. I’m now bone on bone and I have been dealing with it for over a year now. I’ve been putting it off for over a year now and I just can’t tolerate the pain anymore I have to have a knee replacement. My insurance has a very high deductible and I am short $6,000. Unfortunately I have to pay the remaining deductible so that I can have my surgery and have it covered at 100%. I’m still going to work everyday driving is very excruciating because it’s my right knee and I just can’t wait to have it done. I’ve never had to resort to doing something like this but my insurance is not very good and that’s why my deductible is so high and this is from my employer and I’m in the medical field I work for a Dermatology group, I am asking for donations to raise money for the remainder of my deductible that I’m short on. Every little bit helps and I would appreciate anything anybody can donate to me. I am thanking anyone in advance so very much. And thank you for your time and consideration, when I am back on my feet I am going to donate the amount that was given to me in return to another person who finds themselves in my situation. Again thank you so much for reading my story. Thank you, Cheri
