Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my post,
I am recently graduated from college with quite a bit in student loans to pay off. I just got my first job out of college and moved into my first apartment. Just when you think things are going well, obstacles appear.
I was laid off from my job during COVID. Since I was laid off I was taken off of the company health insurance.
Shortly after I was off health insurance, I had a medical emergency and had to go to the hospital. I got a piece of chicken stuck in my esophagus and could not swallow. It would come out so I needed an endoscopy to have it removed. I had no choice but to go to the hospital uninsured.
I was unaware of how much this would cost me. I didn’t think it would be a big deal, but the bills kept coming.
I am currently in debt from student loans and am now set back another 6,000+ dollars from this hospital visit. I also have to pay rent monthly.
Even the smallest amounts of help towards my goal of paying off my debts would be greatly greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping out.
