Help with medical Expenses and funeral costs

  1. My name is Chris. I am a 37 year old female. I am asking for help today because I have exhausted all my other options at this point. I am dating the most wonderful man in the world. He is 38 and doing the best he can to keep his head above water.
  2.   In March of this year he lost his mom due to some long time illnesses such as kidney failure, copd and something that had to do with her intestines exploding causing her to have to get a colostomy.
  3. About a month before she passed away his dad started getting sick. Took him to the doctor to see what was wrong. He ended up having a bad case of bronchitis. Around a week went by but he didnt seem to be getting any better. We took him to the er to get checked out.
  4. They ran some tests and things to see if there was something more going on. When the er doc came back in he had some bad news. He had a tumor blocking the airway to the upper lobe of his right lung.
  5. He had to do radiation and chemotherapy for a few months before they started him on his immune therapy
  6. He was doing alot better. His hair had grown back, he was eating again and was going out of the house doing things. We took him to Florida with us on our vacation this year
  7. All of a sudden abourlt 2 1/2 weeks ago he stops eating again, won’t do anything outside the house. He was getting weaker everyday. He got to the point where he was very confused and couldn’t even remember how to turn the tv channels. He couldn’t talk well either. He went to the doctor for his immune therapy appointment and my boyfriend went in this time so he could talk to the doctor. He wanted to tell him what was going on.
  8. The doctor didnt do his immune therapy that day, instead sent him to get pet scans and an mri. The dove sent him home until the results came in and then he would call. My boyfriend got him home and helped him into his chair.
  9. A bit later he asked him what he wanted to eat and he was tilted back in the chair drooling and unresponsive. He immediately called the ambulance.
  10. He called me at work in a panic so I met him at the hospital. When the er doctor came in he gave us more bad news. Turned out that he had 3 tumors in his brain and another one on his kidney.
  11. There was a small one in the front left lobe of the brain and right behind the small one was a tumor the size of a peach  The third one was in the back of his head.
  12. At this point the tumor was putting so much pressure on his brain that he was losing all the functions from the left side of the brain.
  13. They kept him overnight to see a neurologist. When the neurologist came in with his team thr next morning they told us that his condition was not good at all
  14. The first thing they said was that this was an incurable tumor. We had 2 options they said. One option was to do nothing and as rapidly as it was growing he would die in a week, maybe 2 weeks at best. The second option was they could do surgery and buy him a few more months.
  15. My boyfriend and his dad chose the surgery because there are some things that’s they need to take care of before he passes and they have hope that the radiation they are going to put him through might help.
  16. The next morning he went in for his surgery. When he came out of recovery he was even more confused and didnt understood whya was happening. He is getting a little better day by day.
  17. I am trying to help raise money to help pay for his hospital bills. There a quite a few things that his insurance won’t cover. They owe a $1000 deductible also.  I am also including costs for a funeral for him if he does pass.
  18. My boyfriend and I have been working non stop to pay all the bills for his dad since he can’t right now. We are working different shifts so one of us can be home with him at all times when he comes home. Right now we are at the rehab facility every day visiting with him.
  19. We are sinking with trying to keep up all of his bills and our own bills as well.  Both of us working and paying on everything plus paying on the deducable we are strapped for cash. If anyone out there can find a way to donate it would be greatly appreciated.  It would help tremendously. I appreciate you guys taking such good care of her.
