I need your help…I am a single woman who desperately needs cataract surgery on both eyes. Imagine if you were at the point where you could not drive at night, not even in an emergency, and your daytime driving was limited to your immediate surrounding area. You could no longer watch tv, read very well, or even read the overhead information in grocery aisles until you were almost right under it. This is me.
This has happened because I have been on corticosteroids since childhood due to an autoimmune disease. The medication, although it has helped me tremendously in other ways, is what has created my cataracts. I have tried saving but my monthly costs of rent, food, utilities, and other medical and prescription costs have not allowed me to do so. Right now, I am terrified about what is going to happen to me.
What I need is your help to pay for the eye measurements because I have specific requirements for the lenses that they will be inserting, as well as the special lenses needed for my case.
