Hi everyone, I came across this website accidently while looking for work from home opportunities to earn extra income or income replacement. I am a great grandmother seeking help to save my home from a sheriff sale. I have lived in my home for over twenty-five years. I had a loss of income and fell behind on the property taxes. My home went into foreclosure due to back property taxes. I got another job and started making payments on the back taxes again, but the fees, court cost, other added charges, and late penalties took away a lot of the gains I had made, which only lowered the total amount due a little bit. I kept making payments on the back taxes to show good faith that I sincerely wanted to save my house. Nevertheless, it hasn’t stopped the county from moving forward towards the sheriff sale. I found a government grant program that could help, but I needed more money to add to the grant. I can’t get the grant first without $6,788.00 which is the amount of money that would bring the amount due down to a zero balance. I applied for a loan, but it did not go through. It’s like almost being there and yet so far away.
Five months ago I fell at work and hurt my lower back and my tailbone. I was out on leave for about eight weeks. I came back to regular duty, but it was too much for me to start off with after hurting my back. So my doctor asked for light duty for me. I went to work, punched in and gave my light duty request to a medical staff employee. I was told to have a seat while she placed a call to her supervisor. After a few hours she said that they couldn’t accommodate me and told me to punch out and go home and call their worker’s compensation office. Two days later the employer emailed me that I missed too many days and I was dismissed. That was confusing to me since they are the ones that told me to go home because they couldn’t accommodate me.
I’ve been using my savings to live while attempting to collect unemployment benefits. My former employer objected to me getting unemployment. I haven’t received any unemployment yet, but I have appealed their decision. Meanwhile I keep making payments on my taxes as I look for a new job.
I probably only have left before I lose the opportunity to save my home. This is why I am reaching out to the viewers of this website in hopes of getting help with the money that I need to stop the county from proceeding with the sheriff’s sale. I would like to receive a donation because this is my only property and home and I don’t want to lose it. Thank You
