I am in need of help to save my home , I have just found out that my mom has not made a house payment since February 2023 , they have started the process to foreclose on my home . I am in desperate need of $25,000 to save my home from foreclosure. I was ill and got behind on my mortgage. I filled out some papers from Residential Mortgage Services to have my late payments forgiven and a new mortgage with RMS. In the meantime, I was paying RMS $600.00 per month. They said that it would cover my late payments, their small fee, and get me a new mortgage. I still have receipts of the $600 that I paid them. They did nothing, I gave them $3600 for absolutely nothing because nothing was what they did. All the while LoanDepot who actually held my mortgage was getting a little restless about the mortgage, late fees and not getting any of it.

I soon became ill with covid and actually thought that I was going to die. I turned all my paperwork, bank accounts, retirement money, and pension over to my daughter, She ran through it like a baby calf running through a field looking for its mother. I don’t find my story any more important than the next. I have many things to be thankful for in life. I have established a great career, I have purchased my first home as a young woman under 30, and I have overcome many challenges with domestic violence and my struggle with Bi-polar.
Back story as to why I am here, I am 28 beginning at 26 I began seeing a man I loved dearly, he was a disabled veteran with a big heart and 3 beautiful children from previous relationships and who appeared to be a kind loving father and partner. After moving in with him I supported him and his children on my income. My money went to him for bills, court, his hobbies, the kids, and anything else he needed. I gave him 3/4 of my income without even realizing it.
This man informs me he is part of a 1% motorcycle club which I usually don’t judge till he almost killed me the day before a club event because I asked him not to speak of my deceased husband he ended up choking me out while telling me he would kill me I blacked out and thought I was gone. This abuse continued for two years while I continued to be a leader, be a support for others in my life, and battle bi-polar. Jump forward to June of 2022 I buy us our first house. I am then sent to Texas for work immediately after closing. I got this man everything he had ever asked for. I supported the children and stepped up to be a mom. I gave my life to him. While I was in Texas mid august he was involved with an assault with his club where he was the sole aggressor he almost killed an innocent man just to show his strength to others. A month later when I returned home from Texas from my assignment the police were called to our home because he had again assaulted me I had only been home 2 days and had been gone almost 4 months. He threatened to ruin my life and kill me because I finally had enough and wanted him to leave. I was left in financial ruins I had lost the family and life I thought we were going to have. He left me in shambles my only relief in life is that he is now in prison and can’t get to me. I fell behind on my mortgage payments and I’ve reached out to the mortgage company and have had no understanding. I have now been able to stabilize myself but still have to fight him in court as well as go through extensive therapy for my bi polar and ptsd. I have never asked anyone for help in my life I have always been the helper. I have always shown strength as a woman as a independent person I have survived homelessness, abuse, rape, and everything in between I made a career from having nothing but a suitcase full of clothes and now I have exhausted myself looking for help this once. I have no family to help and it’s just me in the world now. Realistically I need $15,000 to be caught up but that is not feasible nor would I ever ask anyone for that kind of money I’m selling my magic cards and anything have to get caught up but I truly just ask for what ever you can give. I don’t see myself as a victim I’m a survivor and I always have been but I’ve learned asking for help is not weakness and a lot of hardship could be avoided if the pride was set aside a little bit more. Thank you if you read this if not well thank you for being a good person out there helping others.

I made mistakes financially.  I tried to fix them.  That made it worse.  I took out payday loans, and while they had an instant help, they have made every payday even worse.

Our house was foreclosed.  Through the grace of God, we are still living in the house.  It is now owned by a real estate company.  The house is for sale for $39,900.  If we can come up with the money, we can buy it back.  We have lived in the house for nearly 20 years.  Again, I made bad choices with money and have put my family in an awful spot.

We are good people.  I have been a volunteer youth spots coach.  My wife and I both work at schools.  We just made bad financial mistakes.  I am asking for help to save us.  The choices I made to  help us, just hindered u s.

If anyone can give a large amount, a small amount, any amount I would be eternally grateful.  I came to this site after praying, and I believe God sent me here to find the right help.

We have had issues with medical debt and credit card bills that helped put us where we are.  COVID was tough on both of us.  I was hospitalized with double pneumonia.  Very scare time.  I was honestly not sure I would make it out of the hospital

We have tried to put on a happy face.  We have helped others when we can.  Another mistake was not helping ourselves and taking care of ourselves, and that has landed me here.  Trying to do things my way, instead of God’s way has put us here.

The one major bright spot is that through this, I have discovered God.  I recently turned 48 years old, and it has taken me this long to actually have a true relationship with the Lord.  I believe it was my prayers that sent me to this page, and I believe it is through those prayers that I will find relief of this debt.

I am a 67 year old male.  I had to pay my home equity and an opportunity came which offered me a way to pay for that bill.  I, living alone and desperately in need of funds to pay my home equity, fell for what amounted to as a scam and was out of several 1000 dollars which made me broke so I couldn’t pay my bills.  The scammers took advantage of me by offering to pay my bills provided I give them a cash sum.   I felt like committing suicide but that is not the answer to solving my big problem of paying for my living expenses.  I am writing this because I despirately need help and would be greatful for whatever I can get.  I am a disabled US Army veteran and am trying despirately to get funds any way I can so I can be solvent and be able to take care of my living expenses.  I did do a police report on the scammers but I couldn’t properly ID them as I was told they used fictitious names to not be caught.  I am now trying to survive financially but it is hard.  Please help me in any way you can.  It would be greatly appreciated.

So to begin, my brother and I lost our home due to foreclosure. We are elderly and both have health issues and cannot work at the moment and this is why we lost our home. We were living in my brothers car with whatever belongings we were able to fit in the car. We were driving and someone hit us and the car is no longer driveable so they towed it with our belongings in it and we then at that moment had no where to go or sleep. There was a Holiday Inn a block away from where we got hit and we were able to speak with the sales manager and tell her what happened and all the money we did have is gone because she gave us a very cheap rate and is now letting us stay but we owe the hotel money and do not have it. We need money for food and also to find ourselves a place to stay. We would so much appreciate any donations. This is something we never expected to happen and my brother is now in the hospital with a leg infection and high blood pressure.
