I’m the youngest out of eight children and my siblings decided someone had to take care of dad and So my wife and I moved in with Dad. We bought the groceries. Paid the cable bill and electric bill. But all bills were in his name. Dad Wanted me to keep the house. We moved here when I was 5 years old. I love this place. It’s home. And I’m afraid we’re going to lose it the payment. When Dad passed Was $780 a month. I called the insurance company Uptown and told them that passed away. Wanted to cancel the insurance on his car. Without knowing that they cancelled the insurance on the house, which Was included in the mortgage payment. 3 months go by and I get a letter in my house payment went up to $980 and I had to find insurance on the house in my name. The furnace went out which was old fuel furnace. So I had to put a new electric furnace in Which meant I had to upgrade the electric service to 200-amp service. So now we’re broke and Struggling to make the house Pay my electric bill. Car payment blah blah blah we done. All Write for 4 years. But this winter Has been a terrible struggle. I have arthritis in the spine and fingers. I’m good from about 7 a.m. Till noon Sometimes one or two in the afternoon. and then I am Finding myself having to sit down. I’m not afraid of work. I have a Deed on death certificate from dad for the house the house belongs to me, but Dad still owes $98,000 on it. It’s worth between 180000 and $200,000. but it needs a lot of work I don’t want to lose my home. And I can’t believe I’m saying this but if I had all the money. That I gave away.
