Hello my name is James Castro my husband Marco and I filed bankruptcy a year ago in July, due to my mother passing away and having to help my father with funeral expenses and my sisters kids he had custody of we got behind in our mortgage and car payments so we filed bankruptcy to save my house and car and so we wouldn’t be homeless. Well in order to keep our house after bankruptcy we had to become current on our mortgage so I turned to the Texas housing assistance fund which helped us with both mortgages the one we have on the manufactured home and the one on the land. Well when it came to fund the money to the land lender he was not reachable, or come to find out he didn’t like same sex couples and ignored our assistance we had gotten and sent us into foreclosure. Once the state of Texas found out they spoke with him and he agreed to reinstate our loan with him receiving the $35,000 funding the state gave him. Well they ended up getting scammed out of the money and we are still going to loose our home. So I ask for assistance to please help with the Downpayment on a owner finance home we found that will need $20,000 down to move and for them to over look our bankruptcy on our credit.
