My family of 10 is facing imminent foreclosure of our home if I cannot raise $60,000 before the 10th of September. I have exerted all other efforts and attempted to work with my lender but they are unable to assist without a “financial change” because past attempts with trial payments failed due to unemployment. I was laid off due to a reduction of force at my previous well paying job and was forced to take a position that pays less than half just to feed my family. I am a very hard working man and have now worked at the same job for over a year but it barely covers the basic expenses. Yesterday I was given an annual review that I was told was the highest rating that had ever been given at my company in my department. I was then told that I wouldn’t be eligible for the annual increase despite my high rating because I missed the cutoff for the year because I started 9 days after the decided upon cutoff and there are no exceptions. Needless to say, this felt like a big slap in the face since I put my pride into my work and frequently stay late to assist with tasks that need done, when all of my coworkers leave right on the button when their “time is up” for the day.
My family consists of my 4 children and my girlfriend and her four children. We combined houses after she and I both went through terrible divorces hers was an abusive relationship and mine was because my wife that I had been with for 11 years had been cheating on me for 8 of those years with my “friend”)
The fathers of my girlfriend’s two sets of children do not pay any child support so we pay all of the expenses.
I know this is a huge long shot but I cannot rest without knowing I’ve tried everything in my power to stop the sale of our home.
There is a lot more to this story and I’m happy to share it if you are interested but I don’t have enough room here to write it all.
Thank you for reading and wether you can assist or not, I appreciate you taking the time to read this far.
