Hey guys..I appreciate all taking the time to read this. I’m a single guy in my forties, and work as a freelance writer. I was injured a few years ago in a car accident and unfortunately was forced to end my career as a roofer. However, I’ve been deemed ineligible for disability and because I work as a freelance to make ends meet I make too much for any assistance. About three weeks ago my bank account was hacked by someone whom I’m assuming used my debit card number to pay a tiktok lice account they owned over and over…to the tune of about $1,800. This has prevented me from making my car insurance payment which I’ve thankfully avoided any tickets for as it’s a law in my state you carry it and now I’ve missed several weeks of rent and face eviction. I have no family or friends in the area or out of state aside from two daughters who have their own struggles and have always been somewhat of a loner. I’m scared to death because I have nowhere to turn for help and am afraid if I’m evicted ill be forced outdoors with nowhere to go. My bank account situation has delayed further payment and I’m not looking at access to any money for at least two more weeks. I desperately need to pay my rent and I’m hoping a kind soul sees this as I’ve exhausted any other means of assistance. My bank has been of little to no help.
