I am writing this plea to ask for your help in raising funds to purchase a fifth wheel. I am a 55-year-old grandmother with a dog who has cerebellar hypoplasia. I have rented my current house for six years, but I have to move out, Aug. 31st because the landlord wants more money and can’t raise the rent to the amount he wants with me in it. The rent that people are charging has become staggering. The rent for a bachelor suite apartment has come to the point that even if I use my entire monthly income, it is too high for me to afford on my disability check. My whole check won’t be enough…I am terrified of the thought of ending up on the streets, homeless.
Even more heart wrenching is the fact that, I am a good tenant. I always pay my rent and look after the yards and homes as though they were my own. Yet, without fail, around the 5 – 6 year point, for one reason or another, I’m required to move. I am finding the stress of it this time to be almost unbearable. I am honestly not one who asks for help, ever. I am not even sure how I found myself here but, I truly believe I need to ask for help this time. .
I am hoping to raise enough money to purchase a fifth wheel so that I can have a place to live that no one can kick me out of and put it on a spot that is affordable and comfortable. The rent on a RV spot is manageable and within my means. I am not an outlandish or greedy person and truly don’t require or expect a lot. I’m just asking for a place for myself and my dog Honey where we can live without fear and can finally be home for good. I have been looking at used fifth wheels up to just $10,000 and there are some very nice ones . I know that this is still a lot of money, but I am hoping that you can find it in your hearts to help me raise the funds that Honey and I need to secure us in our future..
