Dear Kind Hearts,
I’m Dawn, a 38-year-old accountant turned divorce recovery guide, mother of two remarkable children (a 13-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy), and survivor of a tumultuous divorce seven years ago. Today, I find myself standing on the precipice of a new chapter, humbly asking for your assistance in our time of need.
My story begins with my grandfather’s legacy – an accounting firm – passed down through generations. There was always great honor in preserving this heritage, despite the arduous task of dealing with the IRS and the detail-oriented work that never truly suited my personality. Over time, through investments in hiring coaches and additional learning courses and programs to grow my firm and the challenges of trying to sustain an ill-suited business have landed us on the brink of eviction.
After selling my home and attempting to live off the profits, the sustainability of our lifestyle matched with an ill-suited business proved elusive. Yet, in the midst of this financial turmoil, I found my true calling. I discovered the power of emotional healing and self-growth after my divorce, a journey that was painfully difficult yet liberating. My resilience not only led me to a newfound sense of self but also unveiled a passion to guide others on a similar path.
Now, I aspire to become a beacon for divorced women battling heartbreak and emotional hurdles, teaching them to become emotionally open, in control, and present for their children and their daily lives. However, to transition into this new career, I first need to secure stable housing for my children and myself.
I am not asking for a handout but rather a hand-up, a chance to turn our lives around and empower other women. I am in urgent need of $50,000 to cover the past two and a half months’ rent, as well as the security deposit and the first month’s rent for a new place. A small portion of these funds will be utilized for minimalistic furniture, aligning with our simple lifestyle.
Your financial aid will not only help us avert homelessness, but it will also offer a lifeline to countless women who are struggling emotionally post-divorce, by facilitating my ability to coach and empower them. This is not just about me and my family, but about nurturing a community of strong, resilient women.

Please, rest assured that each penny received will be a step towards building a more secure future for my children and giving a voice to those women who need it most.
I am forever grateful for your time, understanding, and generosity. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to a fresh start.
Blessings and strength,
