To be honest I never thought I would be in this situation, I know I need help as I cannot do this without your help.
I am fifty-five now and I was homeless twice in my youth doing everything I could to raise a son on my own. We traveled from California to Iowa where we had been stranded on an out of work program that left me stranded with no money and homeless with small child for 3 months. We lived on a lake in my car and only ate what I could catch, he is thirty and hates fish to this day. Then went to Oklahoma and back to California with the work I could get. After that I went to Idaho had a job in Boise. I liked but turned out it was just so the person I was meant to cover for a long vacation when done, then laid off. By then my parents found land and convince d me to come to Oklahoma.
We arrived on my son’s 4th Birthday October 4th and lived out of my car till the day after Thanksgiving when a home arrived on the land I am on now and I am sinking fast. I could not live with myself if I lost this place. I am in way over my head due to so many factors. A lot of what brought me to this point really was not within my control.
My immediate Need 12,500.00 to eliminate enough of the overhead and pay to run full electric in my home.
Most of the small loans I have done have eliminated the mold and I have attached picture of what I am still trying to complete including paint for the new metal roof since the metal I had to settle for was used and not new. However, there is no more mold, and it no longer leaks like it did, I fixed it because I want to stay here and not to have lost it for not making the right choices and other circumstances beyond my control. That is what I am facing right now.
Below is a timeline of what has brought me to where I am currently. It only touches a little of what gone on. I have always tried to help others and my pride and trying to handle it on my own is why I am asking for your help. Your help would impact at least four lives who depend on this property and call it home. Please help me save it and by saving the land you will be saving me too.
My total debt is 45,000.00 however about 800.00 in bills over what I make each month at 10 months remaining to pay off the small loans

Timeline
1) Job closed and laid off work next day wildfires took everything from me except family and land mostly burnt up.
Paid 20,000+ had home back in 31 days. Nothing close to what I lost but at least not in a hotel.
2) Roofers charged a lot of money advance one year they ripped me off.
3) River runs throughout entire house while fighting without success to get Insurance as it turned out I that they sold me a FEMA trailer.
4) Put flashing on roof to stop leaking and replaced the entire west wall.
5) Job that laid me off rehired me once new client contract was in place
and closed doors permanently due to black mold right before Covid hit the US hard.
6) Covid hits hard, I went away for the weekend and daughter in laws mother came to stay. She had Covid and son and granddaughter moved into their new home they just had delivered waiting for the electric and plumbing (they tested negative) and daughter-in-law remained with Covid in my home while her mother was rushed to the hospital. Later came home to stay in new home and her daughter still positive with Covid had to remain in my home. She watched her mother collapse and die in my son’s arms in front of my home.
7) Heavy winds destroyed trees and some siding and most of my skirting on my home.
8) I spent over 6 months unemployed looking for work homeless with 3 days of clothes as family and friend died from Covid or from lack of accessibility to services combined. I have not buried my Stepfather and its going on 2 years and cannot travel to my dad as his wife just passed away and I honestly lost count around 20+ family and friends passed away.
9) Once my daughter-in-law moved into her home, I came back to a destroyed home been leaking for months and no one said anything to me all my bedding and a lot of my belongings her mom got sick on burned and water damage had holes in my floors and ceiling and door jams caving in. I cleaned what I could and ran around frantically trying to catch all the water flowing into my home when it rained.
10) Not on my new job long enough to refinance my land, I paid for it with several high interest loans and have now become overwhelmed. I still have no electric on the entire west side of my home outlets and all.
11) This has been a complete increase of debit of about 15,000.00 in just a few months since I had just paid off loans for that amount in total thinking I could refinance that all into one loan with a low rate. I got a job had a good credit score showing 121 on time payments. Could not get a loan due to not on job long enough and then my credit score tanked due to paying off all my loans and disputing two collection accounts on my credit report. One for a Doctor I had never seen and a cell phone bill, the representative said he cancelled it when I requested it and then did not cancel it for two months. I have no bad public record and can pass any background check for any job. I was in the middle of paying for my roof and a bathroom floor and tub that were falling through from water damage. Plus, it killed my score for not having a credit score and then to cover everything I had committed, and I never should have assumed that these variables can go very wrong.
