My name is Tom Clark I’m a 16 year veteran of both the US Army and the US Air Force. It’s hard to ask strangers for help paying bills and getting back on my feet. I always have been taught to do good deeds for others and to pay it forward. Any money that is donated to me I will pay it back by paying it forward to those in need once I get my situation straightened out. My life was going fairly well until that unbelievable day in 2013 when my wife of 45 years was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. And so now this is where my story begins. I had money in savings for retirement, however all I wanted to do was to go places and do things that retired couples do. I didn’t care how much money was being spent as long as the love of my life was enjoying the last few months of her life. I can say that in between the bouts of sickness from the chemo she was having a good time. She passed away in July 2016 and her last wish was for me to find another lady to be happy with. However this was going to be hard since most of my savings were gone and the bills were adding up. The funeral cost were over $7’000 alone and we cashed in the life insurance policy to use the money for other expenses. I retired from a good paying job in march 2016 simply because I just couldn’t continue working there since my deceased wife loved visiting the place all the time, even when she was much younger. Working there brought back too many memories of her that clouded my mind and affected my work performance. As far as retirement checks, I wasn’t employed there long enough to receive retirement money from them. As I mentioned previously, I will pay forward any donations that I receive and give someone else a little hope that there are still people out there that will help other strangers that just need a money to get their life back on track.
