Hello everyone! I am in quite a pickle of a financial bind. A few months ago, my computer broke. I am a freelance digital artist and I used that computer for my art. I couldn’t afford a replacement at the time but my friend told me about a leasing program through best buy where they let you pay on something once a week for three months. It seemed like a dream come true so I signed up and got an ipad and case so I could resume my art projects. Well today, I went into my leasing account because money has been ridiculously tight and I was curious to see how much longer I had to pay on it. Well I was shocked to find out that I’m on a 12 month contract to pay over double the actual price of the ipad unless I make a payment of $569.96 by June 20th 2020. I thought that the leasing program automatically calculated how much it needed to take from me a week to pay it off in the time period, but it didn’t. I can’t afford that almost $600 to pay it of and avoid having to pay almost $1,200 EXTRA! I guess that’s how they make money off of poor people like me. It’s definitely a hard lesson to learn and I am here to ask if there’s any way I can get help to pay this off. I’m going to attach the amount I have left to pay by June 20th, the amount I have to pay if I don’t pay by June 20th, and a screenshot of my overdrawn bank account. Below are my cash links and any little bit really means the whole world to me. Thank you for reading and for any donations! (If you don’t want to donate, please consider reaching out for art from me so I can pay this off)
Thanks everyone!
