Hope you all are doing well during this post-pandemic season. I, myself lost my job in the beginning of the pandemic. I was working at a car dealership at the time. I decided to turn to Uber as my source of income. Luckily, it sustained me through the better part of the pandemic. I ended up finding a desk job for a mortgage firm when everything started opening up. However, the firm owner would always be late with the paycheck, sometimes weeks at a time. And I couldn’t Uber because the job took all my time and energy. I ended up quitting because I was falling behind on payments due to the late paychecks. My car payments ended up piling up. I came back to Uber and started working towards paying and making up my late payments. However, they had already contacted the repossession company and took my car. This was my only source of income, and I am about to start a new job in a few months. Now, not only do I have any income to sustain myself, but I might not be able to start my new job without a reliable way of commuting. My Landlord luckily is understanding and giving me some time to figure it out. I have asked all those around me for help, but none can help me with this great of an amount. The total amount required for me to pay in order to get my car back is $2,300.15. I only have until April 14th, 2022 to pay that amount in full. After that, they will sell my car in an auction, and I will still be responsible for the difference between what they sell my car for and the total balance of the car ($10,499.96). I am reaching out to this community because I am out of options and I cannot think of another way. I need my car back in order to have income for myself currently and in order to sustain myself until my new job begins, where I will be making steady money, in order to easily sustain myself and pay off my car payments, among other bills. This was very poor timing for this to happen, and I am trying everything to reinstate my car and get my life back on the track it was on.
