Safe & Sober Transitional Housing for Men

My name is Pedro Bustos, and I am the Director for Solid Ground Recovery LLC. We are a privately funded community outreach program to assist indigent males wanting to become productive members of society.

On average 75% of our clients are release from holding facilities and have no means at becoming self-sufficient. 20% of our clients are transitioning individuals needed a little boost in the right direction. 5% of our clients cannot adapt and regretfully return to a holding facility.

Throughout our lives we constantly find ourselves in need of assistance. Whether it be financial, physical, emotional, or even spiritual. To ask someone for help creates extreme personal unease. At the end of the day it all comes back to the fact that we cannot seem to get out of the situation we are currently in without help, without the proper information it is impossible to know the potential outcome of any given situation.

Clients around this city have the best of intentions, but no way to stop their current trends to positively improve their current situation, whether it be financial, mental, or even physical. Our lives consist of specific routines that we do, sometimes without even knowing we are doing them. When a client has no proper routine or a sense of direction this person would be walking around aimlessly.

Here at Solid Ground Recovery, we introduce life skills, structure, discipline, and self-respect. We have exhausted our allotted funding due to COVID-19 displacing individuals.

Solid Ground Recovery provides clients a sense of direction and a path that one can consider simple, if followed in its entirety without the distractions of a night life beyond the confines of the facility especially during the hours after curfew. Outside of Solid Ground Recovery LLC one is persuaded to find other means of distraction.

This facility revolves within a few key features. Daily chores that directly impacts the cleanliness of the facility. Personal hygiene that includes personal clothing, bedding and of course the client himself. Clients are expected to complete all life skills and community interaction. During the time of admission clients are expected to be free of drugs and alcohol. Random UA’s paid by SGR is an internal compliance conducted and are a common occurrence. Client are expected to sign in and out of the facility. Clients are expected to provide proof of one’s job, or constantly looking for a place of employment with the assistance of staff. Clients update staff during their weekly one on one meetings. These terms are an important form of structure for these men, so they can develop a sense of direction and a routine that will help them improve their current situation in life.

Solid Ground Recovery’s intention is to provide a moral constant and healthy life habits for the clients to transition into productive members of society. Your Sponsorship will be used to assist indigent individuals with: Program Fee’s, Utility Fee’s, Twin Sheets, Twin Fitted Sheets, Pillowcases, Soap, Razors, Wash Cloths, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Deodorant, Toilet Paper, and Bottled Water. Thank you in advance for your contribution. You have no idea how much this means to me to have your support. Here are ways you can sponsor indigent clients:
