I’m not really sure this will work but here is how I got stuck in a bad position trying to change my life. I got divorced and it was soon after the pandemic hit I lost my job. I didn’t take unemployment, I kept working as I supported the kids. I worked from home taking care of every cost 5 days a week. The mom made 25k more than me and only had to pay $50 a month. The good news is I spent 2 years with my sons. One who is now 18 and the other turning 12. During the tough time I started dating. Never thought I would find the woman of my dreams but I did and it was in Colombia. While I was still working remote in Colombia I wasn’t aware of any policies as I worked for 10 months back and forth. In March 2022 I was informed I couldn’t do work in another country. I was let go and basically have run out of money to travel.
What happened on one of my trips that also caused a problem was the ex went to court and got a court date without my knowledge. She waited until the day after I left the country for a short time and the judge gave her full custody and $700 a month plus daycare for my 11 year old. I was only making $17 an hour. I travelled back again for both my sons graduation. I had a court date hoping they would let my 11 year old visit with me for the summer. They didn’t allow it. Now I have ran out of money for travel and immigration and have not been able to find work. I have freelanced for 2 months only earning $100 . If anyone has work or can donate I would even attempt to pay this back because I have many talents. I write and I’m a YouTube content creator, I do video editing and thumbnails but that takes years to build something and I haven’t earned a dime. I’m hoping to be the story that turns things around and blesses everyone 10 times more than they blessed me. I am asking because I feel if I can have 2 months to earn more trust freelancing and to earn money writing and to start a marketing consulting business I can get things to where I can pay for immigration and bills so that I can return to USA to be with my son, who the court has not allowed to leave the state for visitation because the mom. Last time it cost me 1.2k for 4 days. Car rental, Airbnb, food flight. Give me a year and see what I do with your blessing and I hope to show you what your investment in me will do!!
