It is hard to put myself out here and ask for help. I have taken great pride in being financially independent. I tried to do all the right things to ensure success and financial security, such as continuing my education to receive my Masters degree. I also invested in learning to code and stay updated on new certifications.
I felt truly blessed being financially independent, and I enjoyed extending my blessings with others. To name a few, I felt so much joy when I would randomly buy the person’s groceries in front of me at the checkout counter and surprise fastfood drive thru workers with a $20 tip.
Now, I am in a financial crisis with a pending medical condition. I am currently without a job and down to my last $40. I am currently living in my car, which is scheduled for repossession on Monday, June 29, 2026. My car is my home. I am alone and do not have anywhere else to live. I will also lose my means of transportation for my next job opportunity.
On top of all that, I am dealing with the possibility of losing my vision. I was diagnosed a couple months ago with a macular hole. Basically, I have a hole in my right retina. My current symptoms are migraine-like headaches, distorted vision, and duller, darker color appearance. The longer I put off getting the surgical procedure to close the hole, I am at risk of losing all vision in my right eye. It will be even more serious for me if I lose vision in my right eye because I was already severely nearsighted before the macular hole diagnosis.
I am praying for a financial miracle. My need is $15,000.
I appreciate you taking the time to read my message, and I appreciate any amount you can contribute to help save my eyesight and my vehicle from repossession.
