Hello,
I am writing today as I am concerned for my best friend of over a decade. Her name is Jackie.
She (as we all have in our own ways) for the last year or so has been struggling – mentally, physically, emotionally, and now unfortunately, financially.
Aside from the trauma and stress before the following events I will share, she has lost her car she financed in 2014 for 12k making over 25k in payments only for it to be taken away over interest fees after her loan came to term in June 2020.
She has been hurt by “friends”, men, even her own family – all of which she did not deserve.
And in addition to the hurt she has and is experiencing… over the course of the last 7 months I have seen her experience the pain of 2 miscarriages at 13weeks and at 11weeks (she has been trying for children for 5 years)
Now, up to current, during this heartache; one of her long time, dear friends who was a breast cancer survivor in 2016; had developed stage 4 liver cancer in 2019 – Jackie had always went out of her way to take care of this friend (Marina) who had limited family and in January when she finally chose to quit Chemo as it was causing organ failure, and ended up at home hospice, Jackie stood by her side; working during the day and taking care of this woman during the evening (and watching her slowly fade away) until the day she passed… which unfortunately was 2/22/22 – a day to remember for certain. A day that changed her forever as she had never experienced/seen a person she loved pass away; let alone be the one to take care of them prior to.
Then, on 2/22/22 she had endured another loss of (what would have been) her mother in law who suffered a massive heart attack and could not be revived.
In addition to the emotional trauma from those past few months; I have witnessed multiple events that have happened in her life that are/were painful as well as stressful enough would make any person want to quit and give up.
But… though I can see through her eyes that she is hardened, and at times numb inside… amazingly Jackie continues to endure. She works. She prays. She loves. And when she smiles (which has been less often as in the past) she warms up a room.
Jackie is one of the most kind, loving, giving, beautiful soul I have ever been so blessed to know; and it hurts me to see the way life has continued to test her without giving her so much of a small break to catch her breath.
She works very very hard, she has 3 animals (2 cats and a beautiful golden husky) she lives alone and as long as I have known her, though she is not the definition of “a walking success,”…
…she is the strong “underdog” who I constantly pray will end up with a happy ending.
She is always working, paying bills, and is always tired.
She keeps her head above the rough waters of life and does her best to maintain everything by herself.
But, in lieu of all of the above (which is really more of an prelude of her journey than the entire novel I could continue to share) the reason I write today is because I am truly worried for my friend.
If you are still with me and after reading all of the above, my reason for reaching out is her Husky needed an ear surgery a few weeks ago which cost her over $1,000 at the vet (which I thought was ridiculous to remove a skin growth).
Fortunately, the dog is recovered and right now, though she is employed, she confided to me that due to the surgery that she is in bind as she had chose her animal over paying her full months rent and now is behind on bills and is facing eviction. She told me she is behind about $2,000.
Jackie is too worried of what people would think of her to ask for help publicly or post anything on social media; therefore; I am sharing this information and asking that anyone who is able/willing to help me to help her for anonymous donations to surprise and help her come up with the $2500 owed for the rest of this month and to give her somewhat of a cushion to ease her anxiety of financial stress so she may get back on her feet; and maybe even buy herself a pair of shoes since I haven’t seen her go shopping for herself since pre-pandemic :(
I can included some photos of Jackie, Jackie and Marina (before and after) as well as some photos of her animals if you want to see my best friend (want proof). OR If you need any additional information that would implore you to donate to this cause; please feel free to reach out to me. However, please be assured that any and all donations are for the greater good and anything helps.

Even if you do not donate, I thank you for your time, and I wish you a happy everything.
Best,
Tiffany
